4A Games Ukraine, now known as Reburn, an autonomous game development studio, unveiled their latest project titled “La Quimera“. This is a narrative-driven sci-fi shooter game set in a futuristic Latin American landscape, powered by the 4A Engine. The game will be distributed on Steam for PC users, with a launch date yet to be disclosed.

In the sprawling metropolis and lush jungles of a Latin American cityscape lies the setting for the game “La Quimera“. Here, you assume the role of a struggling PMC soldier, dressed in a customizable exosuit, engaged in combat against competing factions. The universe and storyline of “La Quimera” are conceived by Nicolas Winding Refn (of “Drive” and “The Neon Demon“) and E.J.A. Warren. This game seamlessly blends Latin American mythology with cutting-edge weaponry and technology. Players can engage in single-player mode or collaborate with up to two friends, creating a team of three. Fans of the “Metro” series will appreciate the blend of suspenseful gunplay, personal storytelling, and fresh gameplay experiences thanks to intricately designed environments, characters, and weapons.
