You might recall that, after the film’s initial premiere in 1991, a slew of Terminator games graced arcades and various platforms like Game Boy, Sega Genesis, and Super Nintendo. Now, one courageous developer is diving back into the action-packed world of this timeless movie, aiming to create a new game inspired by the style of those classic video games from yesteryears.
Today, Bitmap Bureau has officially revealed “Terminator 2D: No Fate”, a brand new 2D side-scrolling action game inspired by ’90s titles like those seen on Sega CD. This upcoming game is based on the storyline of “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” and will let players take command of Sarah Connor, John Connor, and the T-800 Terminator across multiple levels. The release date is scheduled for September 5th, with versions planned for PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms.
