In this engaging game, you begin in an atmospheric setting reminiscent of a Natural History Museum. Your mission is to gather dinosaur bones and various fossils, then skillfully arrange them to impress your visitors and motivate them to generously donate.
Once you’ve got the fundamentals of ticket sales, trip planning, and exhibit setup down pat, you’ll discover the keys to opening an aquatic-themed museum and a haunted museum brimming with spirits (along with several other museums ready for your touch afterwards).
What makes this game particularly remarkable is that it doesn’t allow for an effortless solution. Instead, it encourages you to revisit each of these museums frequently as you gather new items and learn new gameplay elements throughout your journey. As we continued to play, we found ourselves increasingly dealing with issues like game crashes, visual anomalies, and items acting unpredictably. Some of these problems were minor enough to be overlooked, but others left us eagerly anticipating upcoming updates.
In a softer tone, it’s worth noting that Two Point’s signature humor still shines through in this version. While it may not be as aggressively humorous as before, there are plenty of jokes scattered throughout – from the museum displays to the in-game radio – that will definitely make you chuckle.
Navigating through the user interface on a standard PS5 console can be quite challenging, especially when playing complex games. At times like these, locating the necessary feature feels like a puzzle, often requiring repeated taps on the D-pad and careful exploration. This might result in spending an excessive amount of time searching for what you need.
What’s particularly noteworthy is that it doesn’t feel like an unwelcome task or one that lacks value – the upbeat tunes contribute to that as well.
