Ichi the Witch’s Latest Arc Continues the Adventure in a New Land
A significant event has occurred with the emergence of the World Hater Majik, marking the firming up of the storyline. The Majik poses the greatest danger to the Mantinel Witches Association and even eluded Descarras’ attempts to stop him. Yet, his reappearance is inevitable, and the situation will only worsen in the future. As foretold by Jikishirone, the Orcale Witch, Ichi is destined to become a messiah who will ultimately possess the World Hater Majik.
The news about the acquisition might be positive for many, but it’s not without its costs. Sadly, Ichi is destined to lose his life, yet he remains unfazed by the forecast. Instead, the young sorceress has become determined to pursue the most potent magic she’s ever encountered. At a later time, Jikishirone suggests that he embark on a journey to the land of Bakugami, a place filled with joy. There, he will encounter an ally who will be instrumental in his fight against the malevolent force known as World Hater Magic.
In Chapter 22, when Jikishirone speaks of the “companion,” we encounter a man hunting for magical beings known as Majiks in a forest and seeking guidance on how to capture them. In Chapter 23, it’s revealed that this individual is none other than Gokuraku, the ruthless one. Despite his impressive physical prowess, he hasn’t managed to secure any Majiks yet. Nevertheless, he harbors a desire to transform into a witch and is captivated by Ichi, a male practitioner of magic. He enlists Ichi’s help to learn the art of acquiring Majiks. The storyline for the most recent arc kicks off in Chapter 23, promising further exploration of this character as the adventures in Bakugami unfold.
