The upcoming sequel to 2019’s survival horror game “The Sinking City,” developed by Frogwares, does not have a set release date yet. However, their Kickstarter campaign for this project will commence on March 6th. As of now, the crowdfunding target has not been disclosed, but the developer assures backers they will receive “exclusive rewards,” such as Frogwares’ inaugural physical Limited and Collector’s Editions.
For contributors who donate sufficient funds for the higher tiers, they will receive items such as a SteelBook, a collector’s box, a figure, an item resembling a vinyl record, a hardcover art book, stickers, a medallion, and other goodies. Additionally, there are some unique illustrations of Cthulhu with a rubber ducky in the bathtub.
During the development process, Frogwares guarantees exclusive sneak peeks into fresh settings, creatures, and unique gameplay aspects. Moreover, enthusiasts have the opportunity to engage in challenges and community activities to uncover hidden secrets prior to the game’s release.
In 2025, “The Sinking City 2” will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The main focus of the game is delving into the mysteries of the city while engaging in combat with otherworldly creatures such as the Deep Ones. Additionally, you’ll be collecting clues and investigating to unravel the secrets. This game is developed using Unreal Engine 5, taking advantage of MetaHuman, Lumen GI, and other features.
