You’ll be able to access the mentioned task once you progress far enough into the Initial Fortress and trigger the event by clicking on the designated button. This action will initiate the event’s prologue, following which, you can pick up the request at the Adventurer’s Guild located in the city of Luknalia.

Story
Every hundred years, the Abyss makes an appearance. This is a doom that brings death upon the entire continent. A sorcerer yearned for Death, swallowed lives of people and animals, spreading hopelessness across the world. For millennia, the royal lineage has been safeguarding the Abyss. However, now, the king has disappeared, leaving only despair in its wake as death consumes the world bit by bit. There’s no point in resisting; one can only await their own demise.

Wizardry Variants Daphne” is a fresh 3D dungeon RPG entry within the Wizardry series. The game mechanics adhere to the typical progression pattern of traditional 3D dungeon RPGs, where players advance deeper into chasms known as Abyss, by consistently growing stronger, replenishing supplies in towns, and fighting and acquiring items within dungeons. Combat with adversaries unfolds in a command-based system, and players can engage in tactically rich battles involving up to six characters, including themselves, thanks to the strategic use of spells and abilities.
