The prolonged absence of the enigmatic Shiba Inu leader, Shytoshi Kusama, on the X platform has become the talk of the town—or rather, the howl of the pack. 🐕
In a recent tweet, Vet Kusama, a SHIB team member, addressed the growing unease within the community. With the air of a man who knows more than he’s letting on, Vet assured everyone that all is well and that there’s no need to fret. “Don’t worry, more is on the way,” he said, as if he were a magician about to pull a rabbit out of a hat. 🎩✨
While Shytoshi is offline, “more is on the way”
Vet Kusama noted that Shytoshi has been offline for a week, though his last X post dates back to the end of February, and his last repost was on March 7. Yet, Vet, one of the SHIB team’s social media admins, insisted that there’s no cause for concern. “When the boss returns,” he said with a wink, “everything will be great.”

He tagged Shytoshi Kusama and his right-hand developer, Kaal Dhairya, asking for permission to “leak a few things” to the SHIB army. Neither responded, leaving the community to wonder if they’re too busy or just too mysterious. 🤔
“Let’s have coffee first, Shytoshi Kusama”
Lucie, the social media lead of the SHIB team, also chimed in with a cryptic comment. She responded to a tweet from the Shibarium Updates X account, which featured a cartoon character with a SHIB’s head running in a cloak, saying, “on my way to build the next … …”. Lucie tagged Shytoshi Kusama and quipped, “Let’s have coffee first. @ShytoshiKusama.” ☕👀

Earlier this week, the Shibarium Updates account had already addressed the growing concern about Shytoshi’s silence. “Meanwhile, the ecosystem’s expanding, new tech is rolling, and the foundation’s already set,” they said, adding, “Sometimes the quiet ones aren’t gone—they’re just ten steps ahead.” A subtle hint that Shytoshi might be working tirelessly behind the scenes, perhaps plotting the next big thing. 🚀
