Good news for Marvel Rivals fans – season 6 is launching soon! The release date is just around the corner.
Honestly, a lot of us fans felt like Season 5 wasn’t quite up to par. We’re really hoping NetEase knocks it out of the park with the new ‘Night at the Museum’ update and brings the game back to its former glory!
The season is looking good, especially with the anticipated arrival of a famously talkative character.
Okay, so I’m super hyped for Marvel Rivals – when can we actually play season 6? Here’s the lowdown on everything coming in the new season, as far as I know.
When is the Marvel Rivals season 6 release date?
Marvel Rivals season 6 is scheduled to release on 16th January 2026.
The latest season, called ‘Night at the Museum’, will be available until March 20th. As with all new seasons, it introduces fresh characters, locations, partnerships, and other exciting content.
As of today, NetEase hasn’t announced the exact start date for season 6.5, but it’s likely to launch on either February 13th or February 20th.

What to expect from Marvel Rivals season 6
The major update for Marvel Rivals season 6 includes the addition of two playable characters: Deadpool and Elsa Bloodstone.
Although the specifics are still unknown, Deadpool will likely be a Duelist in the game. His fighting style, which includes pistols, katanas, and close combat, is a natural fit for this role.
Elsa is versatile and could excel as either a Duelist or Strategist. Her physical strength and rifle skills are well-suited for a Duelist role, while her magical abilities, if used effectively, would make her a strong Strategist.
She might be able to combine those two approaches, similar to the Mantis class, functioning as a strategist who can also deal a lot of damage.
The season 6 trailer reveals new maps set in a museum, which belongs to a character named the Collector, also known as Taneleer Tivan.
We anticipate this museum will become a playable map within the game. While another map is possible, NetEase hasn’t confirmed any further maps at this time.
A new Battle Pass is coming with fresh skins and events, and the Team-Ups will likely be updated. However, NetEase hasn’t shared any details yet, so we’ll have to wait and see what they announce!
