It has been confirmed that “American Dad” will resume on Fox and will get four new seasons ahead. Fortunately, reruns of “American Dad” can still be seen on channels such as TBS, Adult Swim, and TruTV until at least 2030, with the possibility of renewal beyond that date.

Conversely, Marci Proietto, head of Fox Animation, expressed her thoughts on the extensive renewals. She stated, “Securing a four-season order from our longtime collaborators at Fox is simply astounding for these timeless animated series. We take immense pride in the fact that these renowned shows will endure for hundreds more episodes, providing both new and established fans with the opportunity to enjoy ‘The Simpsons,’ ‘Family Guy,’ ‘American Dad,’ and ‘Bob’s Burgers’ for years to come.
American Dad’s TBS Goodbye
The television show “American Dad” has been running on TBS for more than a decade, but just like the old saying goes, every enjoyable thing eventually concludes. The recent episode from the nineteenth season, titled “What Great Advancements!”, was broadcasted late in the previous month and presented an unusual plotline for the Smith family. This episode emphasized a silent movie-style setting, where Stan transforms from a farmer to a city dweller due to a wacky invention he creates. If this episode were the series finale, it could have served as a fitting farewell to the animated show, but fortunately for fans, there’s no need to bid adieu just yet. Given that “American Dad” continues to be a well-liked series despite its cable broadcasting history, it’s not surprising that it will make a return on Fox, though the exact date has yet to be announced.
