Taylor Swift dipped back into her country roots for her latest charitable act.
During a recent period of giving, singer Dolly Parton made a substantial donation to The Store, a non-profit organization founded by Brad Paisley and his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, in Tennessee.
The Store expressed immense gratitude for Taylor Swift’s year-end donation, sharing the news in a social media post on January 13th. They explained that her generous contribution will allow them to continue providing families in Middle Tennessee with respectful access to groceries, and will be especially helpful as they prepare to open a second location. They thanked Taylor for using her platform and kindness to support people in need.
I’m so impressed with what Brad’s nonprofit is doing here in Tennessee. They’ve created a completely free shopping experience for people who are struggling, letting them get the food and essential items they need without worrying about cost. It’s truly amazing to see!
Taylor Swift recently donated to several charities, including Feeding America, the American Heart Association, and ACM Lifting Lives. However, her contribution to Brad Paisley’s organization is especially meaningful because he gave her a big break early in her career. When Taylor was 16 and just starting out after releasing her first album, Brad invited her to open for him on tour.
Brad recalled telling his manager about Taylor Swift’s album, saying they needed to get her touring. He was amazed that she wrote such a great record at just 16 years old, admitting he expected it to be good for a 16-year-old, but it was simply excellent regardless of age.
Taylor quickly got used to Brad’s playful behavior while joining him on his Bonfires & Amplifiers tour, even playfully teasing him while he was performing his song “Ticks.”

Taylor Swift recounted a playful prank she and Kellie Pickler pulled on stage. She explained to Entertainment Weekly that they ordered oversized tick costumes – resembling sumo wrestler suits – and ran out to dance around during the performance. Midway through the song, Jack Ingram, who was also an opening act, appeared dressed as an exterminator in a white suit and pretended to spray and ‘kill’ them both on stage.
