So, XRP’s hanging out just above $2.00, which feels like the financial equivalent of that weird friend who never quite leaves your couch. The 200-day moving average is chilling here too—like they’re both stuck in a mutual commiseration club.
That $2.00 spot? It’s basically the bouncer of this crypto party, kicking out any price dips trying to sneak below. But despite multiple intoxicated attempts (price wicks), the bulls are basically the wallflowers tonight—no wild breakout dance moves in sight.
The momentum? If RSI were a party, it’d be the DJ who’s stuck on the same track at volume 50 out of 100. Bulls need to muscle up and bust through $2.60 to get this party hopping toward the $3.00–$3.10 VIP lounge. Otherwise, if the 200 DMA throws in the towel, watch for a potential tragic descent to $1.40 or even the basement floor at $1.
XRP Price Analysis: The BTC Chart, or How XRP Lost Its Swing
Against Bitcoin, XRP’s been on a downtrend that’s about as optimistic as a Monday morning. Since January’s peak, it’s been pulling lower highs like someone gradually losing interest in their Tinder matches.
Right now, it’s clinging just above 2,400 SAT (not the test, the smaller unit of BTC), but still way below the cool kids’ table at 2,800 SAT.
Keep an eye on the 200 DMA near 2,100 SAT—if that falls, things might get uglier than a poorly coded smart contract.
The XRP/BTC duo needs to reclaim 2,800 SAT pronto to stop this sad song on repeat and maybe start climbing again. Until then, expect the upside to be more capped than your data plan.
