On Saturday, Bowen Yang from Saturday Night Live has expressed his backing for Aimee Lou Wood following her criticism of SNL’s portrayal of her White Lotus character.

The Saturday Night Live actor mentioned that it’s beneficial to have occasional reminders, as satire can reach great lengths at times.
He stated, “As comics, we can accept responsibility rather than tapping our feet and claiming freedom of speech gives us the right to say anything. This isn’t about political correctness or being ‘woke,’ it’s simply about respecting the norms that make up our shared cultural values.
Bowen noted that everyone at SNL is enthusiastic about The White Lotus and Aimee. “We believe she should feel incredibly proud of the effort she invested in this season. Once more, it became must-see TV – something we yearn for deeply.
