Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 May Be Closer Than We Think as Cloud’s VA Is Back in the Booth

It’s common knowledge that the development of the third installment in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake series is progressing smoothly. However, it seems that its launch could be nearer than some might anticipate.

The basis for this recent line of thought comes from a newly-posted image on Instagram, shared by Cody Christian, who is famously recognized as the English voice actor for the iconic character, Cloud Strife.

Christian playfully remarks, “Thrilled to reunite with my dearest buddy,” accompanied by a picture featuring the distinctive spiked-hair character. It’s evident that he’s enclosed within a sound recording area.

Unless Cloud unexpectedly shows up in another game, it seems reasonable to think that the voiceover sessions for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 (or whatever it gets named) are currently underway.

Generally speaking, voice acting is usually incorporated into a project towards the end of its production process, primarily for reasons of confidentiality and to minimize the need for future re-recordings. Moreover, when recording takes place in a booth, it typically indicates that the script has reached its final stage.

It appears that, as early as January, the development team had affirmed that the story for Part 3 was fully written, suggesting a swift pace of work.

What is your estimated timeline for the launch of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3, and when can we expect another major update? Feel free to hint at Sephiroth that you’re planning to confront him in the comment section below.
