In The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, Vilverin Wendesel is among the initial dungeons you can explore, and solving a basic riddle will grant you a Chamber Key.
This puzzle consists of two separate sections, each containing three moveable blocks. But what are their functions? Which ones should be moved? To obtain the Chamber Key within this puzzle, how does one go about it?
Well, read on and we’ll answer all of these questions for you!
Vilverin Wendesel Puzzle Solution & Chamber Key Location | Oblivion Remastered
The Vilverin Wendesel enigma may not be as mysterious as it appears at first glance. You’ll notice there are two sections, each containing three moveable blocks. Interestingly, the position of these blocks corresponds directly with the adjacent rooms. Moving a block will cause the corresponding room to open.
Currently, the arrangements of panels and sections in a room mirror its floor plan. So, if you press the block located at the bottom-right corner, it would likely activate or open the compartment that’s nearest to you and is situated on your right side. It’s quite straightforward!
“I see that each chest or chamber contains something, possibly enemies like Skeletons. To continue, all you need to do is give a nudge to the block on the top right corner. This should open the chamber located on the far right.”
As you walk along the panels, take a moment to glance at the wall on your right side. That’s where you’ll find yourself in the chamber. You’ll spot a solitary chest over there.
Interact with it to collect the Vilverin Chamber Key. It’s as simple as that!
And there you go! That solves the basic Vilverin Wendesel Puzzle in Oblivion Remastered and reveals where the Chamber Key is hidden. If you’d like, you can still activate the panels to unlock other chambers too. Keep in mind that those chambers may contain valuable loot, but be cautious as enemies might appear.
In this dungeon, you’ll find several locked gates and chests. Given that it’s early in the game, you might find the lockpicking challenging at present. If you’re struggling with it, our comprehensive lockpick guide could provide some valuable assistance!
