In the chilly month of February, I found myself immersed in James May’s latest television offering, titled “James May’s Great Explorers,” airing on Channel 4. This fascinating documentary series took me on a captivating voyage alongside historical figures such as Christopher Columbus, Sir Walter Raleigh, and Captain James Cook, tracing their epic journeys across uncharted territories.
Now, May is bringing elements of this show to the stage in Explorers – The Age of Discovery.
Explorers: The Age of Discovery” is an engaging live performance where May narrates the thrilling tales of remarkable explorers. These individuals ventured through deserts, conquered mountains, delved into space, and voyaged across oceans – accomplishments far more awe-inspiring than what we typically experience!
Among the explorers whose stories will be told are Leif Erikson, John Cabot and Gertrude Bell.
