New Disney+ Anime From Jujutsu Kaisen Director Drops New Trailer

This year, Disney+ and Hulu have been stockpiling an impressive array of unique anime exclusives, one of which is a highly anticipated series from the director of “Jujutsu Kaisen” Season One and “Ninja Kamui”, Sunghoo Park. A new trailer for this project has been unveiled, offering a sneak peek at what’s to come! In recent years, Disney+ and Hulu have made significant progress in securing major anime exclusives and delivering them promptly. Although there were delays with some of its releases, the platform has improved in providing fresh weekly anime content, with some new sensations even premiering during the ongoing Spring 2025 anime schedule.

Disney Plus has been gathering significant attention within the anime community, particularly for its unique releases such as “Medalist” earlier this year. This trend is expected to persist with the upcoming original series “Bullet/Bullet”, developed by Sunghoo Park following Ninja Kamui, arriving later this Summer. A fresh glimpse into what we can anticipate from this show has been provided through a new trailer that features its theme song, “WORK HARD”, sung by Chanmina. Take a look at the video above to get a taste of it.

When Does Bullet/Bullet Come Out?

The bullets, or episodes, of the upcoming anime will follow a unique release schedule when it debuts on Disney+ this summer. It’s expected to premiere on Disney+’s Star platform in various countries (possibly on Hulu in the U.S.), with the first eight episodes being available on July 16th. Episodes 9-12 will follow closely, streaming on August 13th. Sunghoo Park, who is directing the series at his studio, E&H Production, and in collaboration with studio GAGA, has spent more than a decade developing the concept for this anime’s story. So there’s a lot of anticipation surrounding its launch later this summer.

Aki Kindaichi is responsible for reviewing the scripts for the upcoming anime, while Takahiro Yoshimatsu is handling character design and acting as the main animation director. Hidetaka Tenjin is creating the concept and mechanical designs for the series, and Shin Misawa is supervising its car action sequences. If this show manages to resemble the quality of Sunghoo Park’s previous works like Ninja Kamui, it’s a series that fans might be eager to closely follow.
