Project Motor Racing Gets New Trailer, Fall 2025 Release Window

GIANTS Software and Straight4 Studios recently unveiled a trailer for their upcoming racing game, titled Project Motor Racing. This exciting new title, due out Fall 2025, has been developed using the same engine as the popular Farming Simulator series – the GIANTS Engine. The developers proudly claim that this engine is mod-friendly and enhances the game’s realism in its playability.

The trailer highlights the game’s realistic racing experience by demonstrating a player using an advanced setup, complete with numerous screens and top-tier accessories, designed to mimic the feel of actual driving within the game.

As a thrilled enthusiast, I’m excited to share that at its debut, “Project Motor Racing” promises an impressive array of over 70 vehicles to pick from, spanning across 10 diverse racing classes. These cars will offer the opportunity for exhilarating laps on no less than 27 unique track configurations. Among the licensed vehicles you’ll find some heavyweights from renowned automakers like Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and Audi!

Regarding the diverse racing categories, Project Motor Racing encompasses an array of them, such as LMP, classic GTs from the turn of the century, contemporary GT3s, and even sports cars dating back to the 1970s. Additionally, the core gameplay will be influenced by external elements like changing weather patterns, evolving racing and drying lines, and a 24-hour day/night cycle.

The game offers a standalone Career mode for individual play, alongside online race modes that allow multiple players to contend for positions on the leaderboards. Additionally, it includes Full Race Weekend events where numerous participants engage in extended racing sessions together.

In this game, we’ll be using a completely novel physics engine, specifically designed and constructed from scratch, operating on top of the GIANTS Engine. The company refers to this engine as capable of managing realism at an impressive 720 Hz, featuring intuitive, non-linear throttle controls that mimic real-world behavior.

In a recent press statement, CEO Christian Ammann of GIANTS Software announced their strategic advancement: “From now on, our reputation will extend beyond being the makers of Farming Simulator, encompassing us as publishers of Project Motor Racing too.” He expressed optimism, stating that their strong partnership with Straight4 ensures an outstanding sim racing experience for enthusiasts alike!

According to Straight4 Studios CEO Ian Bell, this isn’t just about operating vehicles; it’s all about competitive racing. With our efficient methodology and what we believe is the most genuine handling system we’ve ever developed, Project Motor Racing pays homage to our genre’s storied past while also marking a significant advancement into the future of simulation racing.

The video game titled “Project Motor Racing” is set to arrive on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Pre-orders for this game are now open, and there’s an option to pre-order a “Year 1 bundle” that could contain additional content designed for post-launch support of “Project Motor Racing“.

As you eagerly anticipate the launch of “Project Motor Racing”, here’s a list I curated of other racing games due for release in 2025 and beyond that I think you’ll love diving into. Some exciting titles on this list include the “Exo Rally Championship” and the long-awaited sequel, “Wreckfest 2”. Keep your gaming rig ready, fellow speed enthusiast!
