Jurassic World Rebirth’s Rating Sticks to a Series Tradition

Although some may anticipate a Jurassic World: Rebirth movie filled with dinosaur violence to be rated R, given its status as Universal’s major summer blockbuster, it was not surprising that the film would adhere to a PG-13 rating instead. This decision allows director Edwards and his team to attract the broadest possible audience while remaining true to the franchise’s essence. Even though the violence may not be as graphic as in a movie like John Wick, Jurassic World: Rebirth is expected to test the boundaries of the PG-13 rating.
