After the incredible reception given to Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen and the thrilling Shibuya Arc, MAPPA astonished viewers by not only announcing Season 3 promptly but also unveiling a compilation movie based on the Hidden Inventory Arc. Often referred to as Gojo’s Part Arc because it delves into aspects of Gojo that viewers hadn’t previously seen, this arc sheds light on his character and his connection with Geto – a relationship that significantly impacts the Shibuya Arc. The upcoming film is nearing its release date, and in anticipation, fans have recently been treated to a glimpse of young Gojo and Geto.
According to a listing on Amazon Japan, the June 2025 issue of Animage Magazine is set to showcase a new artwork depicting young Gojo and Geto on its cover. The image displays the duo happily riding a bike, with Gojo wearing his round sunglasses and holding a water bottle. The magazine hits stores on May 10th, but it’s unclear at this point whether it includes an interview or any other exclusive content for Jujutsu Kaisen fans; we’ll just have to wait and see!
Jujutsu Kaisen‘s Gojo and Geto Grace the Cover of Animage Yet Again
It’s worth noting that Gojo and Geto have previously appeared on the cover of Animage Magazine, which was back in July 2023. They were also showcased in the September 2023 issue of Newtype Magazine, as well as on the cover of Nikkei Entertainment in August 2023 alongside Riko Amanai. With the upcoming release of Hidden Inventory movie, this latest feature on Animage couldn’t have been more perfectly timed to boost excitement for the release even more.
The Hidden Inventory/Premature Death Arc compilation movie was initially unveiled at Jump Festa 2025, with a planned release in Japanese cinemas on May 30th, 2025. While an international release hasn’t been confirmed yet, considering the popularity of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, it’s likely that fans outside of Japan will get to watch it soon.
Fans should brace themselves for another emotional blow as they delve deeper into Gojo and Geto’s sorrowful past.
