Forget a poker face—these celebs were all smiles on the red carpet.

The debut of season two for the show “Poker Face” happened on May 1 at the Hollywood Legion Theater in Los Angeles, where stars like Justin Theroux, Kumail Nanjiani, Fred Armisen, and others made appearances.

On the red carpet, Theroux was astonishingly dapper in a monochrome black suit paired with a white and black striped dress shirt, whereas Nanjiani opted for a striking lavender suit.

Additionally, Melanie Lynskey was also noticed, captivating in a black satin gown paired with a black cropped blazer. The star of Yellowjackets, Jason Ritter, her husband, was beside her, smartly dressed in a gray suit and striped necktie.

The glamorous gathering marked the approach of the second term for the TV show, which is due to premiere on Peacock. The initial trio of episodes will debut on May 8, with the following nine hour-long episodes being released every Thursday thereafter.

In this humorous television show, Natasha Lyonne plays the role of Charlie, an astute individual possessing an uncanny knack for spotting falsehoods. Every week, she embarks on a fresh enigma to unravel.

For the upcoming season, an impressive roster of guest stars has been unveiled, featuring actors like B.J. Novak from “The Office”, Awkwafina who shone in “Crazy Rich Asians”, Cynthia Erivo known for her role in “Wicked”, David Alan Grier best remembered for his work on “St. Denis Medical”, and several others.

The inaugural season of the show was helmed by Rian Johnson, who’s known for movies like Knives Out and Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi. Notable guest stars graced this season as well, such as Adrien Brody from The Brutalist, Chloë Sevigny of American Horror Story, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt from 500 Days of Summer.

Before the premiere of its first season, Rian and Natasha spoke with TopMob News about the origins of their new series.

They emphasized that the strength of a stimulating dinner chat among friends should never be underestimated.
