505 Games and Leenzee Games have officially announced that the Souls-like action RPG titled “Wuchang: Fallen Feathers” will be released. The game is set during the Ming Dynasty, and so far, the developer has confirmed 25 distinctive weapons and 40 spells. Notable features include challenging boss fights, such as Fang Ling.
In a recent preview video, Stephen Takowsky, the community manager for 505 Games, shared some fascinating insights. For example, the game’s Wuchang level is labeled as a “non-linear experience,” which applies to its bosses as well. This means players can choose the order in which they confront these bosses, thereby introducing variety into the strategy (although it remains unclear if their difficulty levels adjust accordingly).
Takowsky disclosed that the way Feathering magic builds up varies based on your chosen weapon, thereby shaping your gameplay approach. In terms of the bosses, they are carefully designed to offer an unforgettable and testing encounter.
On the 24th of July, the game “Wuchang: Fallen Feathers” debuts for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC at a price point of $49.99. The game will also be accessible on Game Pass. With an estimated playtime of around 40 to 60 hours, it offers multiple endings to discover.
