“No plans” to port The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy to additional platforms, says Kazutaka Kodaka

As of now, there’s no talk about adapting “The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy” for consoles like PlayStation or Xbox, as mentioned by the game’s co-director and co-writer, Kazutaka Kodaka.

Kodaka clarified in a recent post on Bluesky that he wasn’t discussing moving to other platforms; instead, he was referring to providing support for multiple languages. Previously, he had made it clear that while he had mentioned porting to different models in the past, there are currently no plans for it and the likelihood is minimal.

On a thrilling note, I’m excited to share that as a fan, I recently jumped into the action with “The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy,” released globally on April 24 for both Nintendo Switch and Steam via Steam. This exhilarating experience was made possible by Aniplex, an esteemed subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment Japan.

Previously, Too Kyo Games admitted to having poured all their available funds and personnel into developing this particular game, which led them to accumulate debts. At present, the company is still grappling with its financial obligations and teetering on the edge of bankruptcy, as stated by Kodaka.
