Anna Wintour's Stunning Look at the 2025 Met Gala Will Blow You Away

Anna Wintour knows what it takes to look superfine at the 2025 Met Gala.

As I gracefully strolled down the iconic red carpet of the Metropolitan Museum of Art on the 5th of May, I couldn’t help but feel the aura of influence emanating from me – yes, as the editor-in-chief of Vogue. This night, undeniably, is the pinnacle of fashion events, and my presence here only serves to underscore its importance.

Keeping the “Tailored For You” dress code in mind, which coincided with the Costume Institute’s spring 2025 exhibit titled “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” Anna made her entrance in a long silver gown featuring an embroidered floral design. She paired this with a floor-length light blue coat, adding a touch of elegance to the outfit. For years, there’s been talk that the 75-year-old has influenced everyone’s outfits for this event. Yet, she admitted she’s primarily concerned with her own appearance for the night. Still, if assistance is required, she’s ready to lend a hand. Given her long-standing role as co-chair since 1999, it’s clear she’s deeply involved in the occasion.

On Good Morning America earlier this month, Anna stated that many people reach out to us for advice, so we make an effort to assist as many as possible to the best of our abilities. However, there are some instances where we’re at a loss.

Some individuals who will attend this year’s event are the 2025 co-chairs: Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, and Pharrell Williams. Although Lewis Hamilton and honorary co-chair LeBron James didn’t ask for advice, she is confident that they will uphold the theme of this year with justice.

Regarding Colman’s plan, which he hinted to TopMob News as “epic” and involving historical elements, Anna commented on Good Morning America, saying, “I found it quite ingenious.

She shared that Pharrell and Rocky told her about their outfits, which sound ideal to her. “Lewis,” she added, “I’m not completely convinced by his claim of no photo, but it sounds fantastic. I trust Lewis. He always seems to know what he’s talking about.

Regarding Anna’s most important advice for those going to the esteemed gala, as she shared with Vogue in 2019, “Ensure you choose footwear that is both comfortable and well-fitting, or at least ones that fit properly.
