Fans of The White Lotus are starting to see cast announcements for the new season, and each reveal is creating excitement and curiosity.
Steve Coogan, known for playing Alan Partridge, will be joining the cast for the fourth season of the show, as reported by Deadline.
I’ve been a fan of Steve Coogan for ages – he’s brilliant in everything from ‘The Penguin Lessons’ and those Channel 4 shows to ‘How Are You? It’s Alan Partridge’! And let’s not forget his incredibly challenging role in ‘The Reckoning’. He’s so good at impressions, and really tackles both serious and funny subjects. So, naturally, I’m incredibly excited to see what he does in the new season of ‘The White Lotus’ – I have a feeling it’s going to be fantastic!
Details about the characters and plot of season 4 are still being kept secret, but the season will take place in France. The Château de La Messardière in Saint-Tropez is expected to be a key setting.
Joining Stephen Coogan in season 4 will be Caleb Jonte Edwards, a new face to the show. Edwards’ previous acting credit includes a role in the Australian crime drama, Black Snow.
The casting of Coogan and Edwards follows the recent announcement of two other new additions to The White Lotus season 4: Alexander Ludwig, known for Vikings, and AJ Michalka from The Goldbergs.
Rumors are still circulating about who else will be in the cast, with reports suggesting Helena Bonham Carter and Chris Messina are being considered for roles.
Season 4 of the popular show promises more of the clever plots and funny moments fans expect from creator Mike White. It will feature both established actors and exciting new faces.
Season 3 boasted a fantastic cast including Natasha Rothwell, Jason Isaacs, Walton Goggins, Carrie Coon, and Parker Posey, alongside Aimee Lou Wood, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, and Patrick Schwarzenegger. While it’s unclear if any past characters will reappear, the show generally introduces a completely new group of guest stars each season.
We still don’t have a confirmed release date for the fourth movie, but production is expected to begin this spring. This means we can look forward to more casting news soon!
