At long last, Seiji Aoki, the classic Virtua Fighter project producer, announced that Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. will be making its way onto PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2! This news was shared during today’s Virtua Fighter Direct 2025 Spring event. Since the initial release of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O., we’ve been listening to your requests for a multiplatform version, which we’ve heard loud and clear on our official Virtua Fighter Discord and other platforms. With this announcement, our development team is excited to bring the experience of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. to gamers across all platforms.
Aoki went on to say, “Additionally, we’re working to release this game across various platforms, and we’ll be incorporating cross-platform play. To ensure seamless cross-play, the rollback feature found in the Steam version will be available on all platforms. We aim to provide additional content beyond just a port, details of which we’ll share in future announcements.
