Elizabeth Hurley isn’t keeping her new romance strictly confidential.

Indeed, the former student from the Royals was more than willing to offer a glimpse into her connection with Billy Ray Cyrus.

She confessed to TopMob News at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Hot Pink Party on May 13th that it was an unexpected turn of events. However, she went on to say that they are extremely content with each other and hope for a wonderful future together.

As Elizabeth, who is about to turn 60 and has consistently backed the BCRF’s initiatives, eagerly anticipates her upcoming celebration with Billy Ray.

She expressed, “I’m open to luck when it comes to most things, but I enjoy birthdays immensely. It’s not just the presents and flowers, or even the kindness from everyone, it’s the whole day of fun that comes with it.” (For more on the Hot Pink Party, catch TopMob News tonight at 11 p.m., May 14.)

Three years ago, I crossed paths with Elizabeth on the movie set of “Christmas in Paradise” (2022) and our connection blossomed. Fast forward to Easter this year, we made it official and shared a heartwarming moment that spoke volumes through a public display of affection, complete with a red heart emblem.

Now, having entered into a relationship, Billy Ray reflected on how the signs were there all along.

The actor shared that although we worked together only a few times, there was an undeniable chemistry between us. He mentioned this during his interview on The Ty Bentli Show on Apple Music Country, on April 24. He added that our shared moments were filled with laughter, and at that point in time, I wasn’t laughing much.

For the former Hannah Montana star, who had been married to Tish Cyrus and together they have children Brandi Cyrus (aged 37), Trace Cyrus (35), Miley Cyrus (31), Braison Cyrus (30), and Noah Cyrus (24) – it was evident that someone was there for him during his critical times.

He enthusiastically praised Elizabeth, likening her intelligence to that of Dolly Parton, whom he considers a sharp and successful businesswoman.

He added, “What struck me most was our frequent laughter. Initially, I thought we were vastly dissimilar, yet surprisingly, we shared far more similarities than differences.

Despite a falling out following their time together on set, the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer and the actress had lost contact. However, during a tough period in Billy Ray’s life, Elizabeth reignited their connection through a heartfelt message, rekindling their relationship. This was prior to their 2024 divorce with Firerose, which grew increasingly complicated.

Billy Ray shared that he received a supportive message saying something along the lines of, “It seems life might be challenging right now, but just wanted you to know I’m here for you; you’ve got a friend by your side.” He replied, “Who is this?” and it turned out to be Elizabeth Hurley.

For the former star of “Hannah Montana”, who was in a marriage with Tish Cyrus, and together they share children Brandi Cyrus (37), Trace Cyrus (35), Miley Cyrus (31), Braison Cyrus (30), and Noah Cyrus (24) – it signified that there was someone by his side when he experienced his most challenging times.

He enthused about Elizabeth, saying she’s remarkably intelligent, adding that she’s much like Dolly Parton in her wisdom and impressive business acumen.

Elizabeth Hurley and Hugh Grant were rising stars when they first crossed paths during the making of the 1988 Spanish film “Against the Wind,” where Grant played the role of the Romantic icon, Lord Byron.

In the interview, Hurley playfully commented, “Hugh really stood out in those beige trousers,” but I believe my admiration for him would still be present. From the very beginning, there was a strong connection. He had a knack for making me smile.

The duo, who had been together for quite some time, unexpectedly reached international fame at nearly the same moment: Grant, with his standout role in 1994’s “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” and Hurley, through her appearance wearing the legendary Versace safety-pin dress at the film’s London premiere, which remains iconic to this day.

In June 1995, Grant was arrested on charges of lewd conduct with a prostitute. Later, he pleaded no contest and received two years’ unsupervised probation. As a result, his promotional tour for the romantic comedy “Nine Months” transformed into a series of apologies.

However, Hurley remained by his side, even attending the film premiere together – “She has been incredibly supportive, and we aim to resolve our issues,” Grant shared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In the end, their relationship persisted until 2000.

Hurley expressed on Larry King Live in 2000 that she found joy in every aspect of her life and felt it was because she had wonderful friends and family supporting her. Essentially, she implied that things worked out well for her in the long run.

In 2018, they maintained a very strong bond, as evidenced by Hurley referring to Grant as his lifelong friend during an interview on Daily Pop, hosted by TopMob.

She shared in an interview with the Daily Mail’s You Magazine in 2017 that maintaining friendships with many of her former partners is quite natural because it’s hard not to have a good relationship with someone who is kind-hearted. She stated that none of them have ever done anything harmful to each other, which is why they remain friends.

By December 2024, Hurely acknowledged that their relationship wasn’t as tight-knit as before, yet it wasn’t due to a falling out between them.

She mentioned during the Bazaar At Work summit in December 2024 that he is married and has five children. Despite rarely seeing him, he remains deeply important to her. Additionally, she serves as godmother to one of his children.

In the month of April 2002, Elizabeth Hurley welcomed her son, Damian Hurley, into the world. This was following the conclusion of her romantic involvement with his father, financier and film producer Steve Bing.

Bing wouldn’t initially admit to being Damian’s father, but a DNA test proved it that June.

In a previous statement, Hurley expressed that he has unequivocally refused any financial assistance from him. To put it simply, he never desired nor accepted money from him, as stated in the Daily Mail. (BBC reported that Bing promised to generously aid his son once paternity was confirmed.)

In June 2020, when Bing took his life at the age of 55, Hurley expressed deep sorrow on Instagram, stating he was “devastated far beyond comprehension.

She added, “The conclusion is heartbreaking indeed. Our time shared was filled with joy and I want to share these photos as they encapsulate the fond, lovely recollections of a gentle, compassionate soul. Despite facing challenging periods, it’s those bright moments that truly matter. In the past year, we had reconnected.

Hurley briefly teamed up with NBA point guard Steve Nash in 2001.

According to Nash’s representative, they simply got along well. They spent time together and developed a certain connection. The bond between them is genuine.

Hurley wed businessman Arun Nayar in 2007 after four years of dating.

In December 2010, she made public their separation on X (previously known as Twitter): “To set the record straight, my spouse Arun and I parted ways a couple of months prior. Our immediate family and closest friends had already been informed about it.

In the spirit of unwavering fandom, I can’t help but share a bit about my beloved duo. The following year saw their divorce being made official, yet remarkably, they stayed true to their bond. Sadly, Warne died in March 2022 of heart disease. He was 52.

In his Instagram post, Hurley expressed that it seemed as though the sun had disappeared for good. He mourned the loss of his cherished companion by saying, “Rest in peace, my dear Lionheart.” (or simply “Farewell, my beloved Lionheart.”)

In an interview with Red magazine during the spring of 2019, Hurley expressed that it would be delightful to find oneself falling in love with a remarkable person.

Five years after, she publicly started her relationship with Billy Ray Cyrus by sharing a post on Instagram on Easter Sunday.
