In response to rumors about the current location of Jace Evans, who is a former cast member on Teen Mom, she clarified that he is currently residing with his father Andrew Lewis in Florida. This move was made due to Jace’s persistent behavioral issues.

The famous personality from MTV has been transparent about the impact that her teenage son’s mental health journey – which includes diagnoses of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Major Depressive Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) – has had on their family as a whole.

She stated, “It’s incredibly challenging to manage, as they exhibit a rebellious behavior pattern. These children often misbehave intentionally to draw attention and show little or no regret for their actions. They seem to lack emotional understanding of the impact of their actions.

Despite Jenelle, who is a mother to Kaiser (aged 9) from a past relationship and Ensley (7) with her estranged husband David Eason, having dealt with Jace’s health issues in conjunction with her mom Barbara Evans for years, they decided to maintain privacy about it by keeping the details private.

She clarified that they purposefully avoided discussing the matter with the media to respect Jace’s personal space. However, due to numerous occurrences over a long period, they felt compelled to take action.

In October 2023, a dispute between the 33-year-old and Jace (formerly living with his grandmother) escalated so severely that she felt compelled to contact Andrew for assistance in handling the situation.

She remembered saying, “‘Help me, please,’ I pleaded, overwhelmed by a panic attack. Tears streamed down my face. I desperately asked, ‘Could you step in and handle this situation for once? We’ve all given our best, but it seems like we need an extra hand now.’

Jenelle emphasized that keeping order to safeguard her two younger children is crucial, not just for their safety but also for his own. She further explained that when co-parenting, it’s essential for both families to collaborate in resolving issues early before they escalate and potentially cause serious problems for the kids as they grow up.

Regardless of the feedback about my choice, I firmly believe I’m making the right decisions for the well-being of my whole family.

She made it clear, “Feel free to express yourself as much as you like, but let me clarify. To me, being a mother means acting in the best interests of my child, and that’s exactly what I’m doing.
