THE CUBE, SAVE US ‘Server Slam Test’ set for February 19 to 22

XLGAMES is holding a test event called “Server Slam Test” for their new action game, THE CUBE, SAVE US, from February 19th to 22nd. Players on PC can access it through Steam.

Here is an overview of the game, via XLGAMES:

The Server Slam Test is a large-scale event where many players will try out the game at once, mimicking a live launch. It’s designed to check how well our servers hold up under pressure and to find any major issues before the full game release. While not all features will be available, the test will give players a good idea of what the final game will be like. It will run for 72 hours, starting February 19, 2026, at 6:00 PM PDT and ending February 22, 2026, at 6:00 PM PDT.

This test version includes a lot of new content we’ve previously discussed, like the new boss enemy “Yacha,” plus several new regular and tougher mutants. We’re also introducing a special equipment system just for elite and boss enemies. Beyond that, you’ll find improved anti-cheat protection, a better user interface and experience based on feedback from Steam Next Fest, performance improvements, and some new cosmetic items.

THE CUBE, SAVE US was a hit during Steam Next Fest, ranking third in the number of players trying it at the same time and appearing in the top 8 most popular demos worldwide. Based on this positive feedback, XLGAMES is planning a Server Slam Test to make the game even better.

XLGAMES plans to launch Steam Early Access for the game in the first quarter of 2026. Before that happens, they’ll be running a final large-scale test, called the Server Slam, to make sure everything runs smoothly and is fun to play.

A release date for THE CUBE, SAVE US has yet to be announced.
