Our goal is to pave a way to bring real USD onto the Cardano network.
The conversations we’re having right now are primarily focused on exploring options. We’re looking at multiple avenues for integration, such as whether the RLUSD will be distributed using LayerZero’s network system or if it will be issued natively on the Cardano platform.
Hoskinson emphasized that he had previously promised to take care of the integration at no cost, as they value the XRP community. However, he also mentioned that the ultimate decisions would rely on whether it’s practical and beneficial for both ecosystems. In essence, it needs to be advantageous for all involved parties.
Despite ongoing discussions with Ripple, Cardano is actively pursuing new stablecoin collaborations to bolster its Decentralized Finance (DeFi) options and enhance the functionality for its users.
