Bridgerton stars Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha are on this week’s Radio Times

As a total TV fan, I’ve noticed that some romances just stick with you – they feel iconic. And honestly, Bridgerton seems to be making it a mission to give us at least one of those moments every single season.

Okay, so Luke Thompson just had to recreate that iconic scene! You know, the one with Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy coming out of the lake in the ’95 Pride and Prejudice? Seriously, a lake, a completely drenched shirt, and someone spying from the trees… it’s a total nod to that moment, and they didn’t even try to hide it! As a fan, it was amazing to see.

Now that Benedict Bridgerton is ready to find love, the new series focuses on his blossoming romance with Sophie Baek, a clever and capable maid.

It’s over-the-top, delightfully cheesy, and best enjoyed by simply letting yourself get swept away by its romantic story.

This week we also celebrate performers who have been quietly stealing scenes for decades.

This week, we’re chatting with Don Warrington, a popular star from Death in Paradise. We also speak with Sir Jonathan Pryce about his new role in Under Salt Marsh, Sky Atlantic’s gripping crime drama filmed in Anglesey. Some are even calling it the ‘Welsh Yellowstone’ – quite a compliment!

Also in this week’s TopMob:

  • Game of Thrones spin-off A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a tale of a tall knight and his diminutive squire.
