Life is Strange: Reunion “Builds on Everything That Has Come Before,” As Max and Chloe Turn Co-Leads

The world of Life is Strange often feels uncertain, but for Max Caulfield, the biggest worry is that every choice has an impact. This is especially true when her old friend, Chloe Price, reappears at Caledon University, needing help with disturbing visions, as seen in Life is Strange: Reunion.

It appears Max’s choice in Double Exposure has unexpectedly revived Chloe. However, this joyful reunion isn’t a fresh start. According to Andrew James, a senior brand manager, it’s actually the exciting conclusion to both characters’ stories – the final chapter in their journey.

James shared on Xbox Wire that this release feels like a satisfying conclusion for both the development team and the game’s fans, bringing together everything they’ve worked on. He also noted it marks the end of their time working on the project at Caledon University in a memorable and exciting way.

Players don’t just control Max; they also play as Chloe. Max gets her Rewind power back, letting her revisit moments captured in photos and even stay in the past. Chloe, on the other hand, can use Backtalk to challenge characters in conversations. Plus, Chloe can access areas Max can’t reach, opening up new avenues for investigation and clues.

As a huge fan, I’m so excited for Life is Strange: Reunion! The choices we make in this game will actually shape the history of Max and Chloe, and reveal what really happened that night in Arcadia Bay. It comes out on March 26th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. There are a few different ways to get it: the Standard Edition has just the game, but the Deluxe Edition comes with the soundtrack, an art book, a behind-the-scenes documentary, and even a prequel comic. Plus, there’s a Twin Pack that includes Double Exposure too!
