As the Xbox Developer Direct ’26 approaches, it’s looking increasingly likely that Forza Horizon 6 will be released on May 19th. Billbil-kun, a reliable source of gaming leaks, has confirmed the date, which originally appeared as a pop-up within Forza Horizon 5.
The new open-world racing game will be available in three versions. The Standard Edition costs $69.99. The Deluxe and Premium Editions are free, with the Premium Edition giving players early access starting May 15th. The Premium Edition also includes extra perks like a VIP membership, access to all future cars, a starter pack, and a special time trial car pack.
More car packs are expected to be released after the game launches, and a physical copy of the standard edition is planned to be available on day one. Pre-orders for the physical version will likely begin at 8 PM in France (11 AM Pacific Time). Given that pre-orders open an hour after the game’s presentation, the presentation is estimated to be about an hour long.
Forza Horizon 6 is now available on Xbox Series X/S and PC, and will be coming to PlayStation 5 later on. While there were reports it might arrive in the first half of the year, that still seems likely. The upcoming Xbox Direct showcase will also feature looks at Fable and Beast of Reincarnation, plus a fourth, unannounced game.
