Only 17 people have Call of Duty: Warzone’s rarest reward β€” but reaction shows there’s still a lack of player trust

Ever since the Season 01 Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone arrived, players have been tackling some incredibly difficult challenges.

As an analyst, I’ve been tracking the rewards for consistently winning in Warzone, and it’s confirmed: achieving a significant win streak unlocks incredibly rare weapon camos – the rarest the game has to offer.

Raven Software, the studio behind Warzone, recently shared information on X (formerly Twitter) revealing how incredibly rare some in-game items are. In fact, only 17 players have managed to obtain one particular item.

Congratulations to everyone who earned the special Season 01 Win Streak camos! Here’s how many players have unlocked them so far:

* Battle Royale (10 Wins): 236 players
* Battle Royale (25 Wins): 17 players
* Resurgence (30 Wins): 447 players

(Data as of January 21, 2026)

It’s no surprise that players are having more success earning rewards for 30 and 50 win streaks in Resurgence, likely because matches are quicker and feature frequent respawns. However, achieving a 25-win streak in Battle Royale remains incredibly rare – only 17 players have managed it so far.

This means only a very small number of players – 17 or fewer – have earned all the available rewards. Given the huge number of people who play Warzone daily, that’s a remarkably low amount.

These achievements aren’t possible in the relaxed, casual game modes. You have to play the more serious, competitive modes to even try. I have a lot of respect for anyone who’s managed to do it – I wouldn’t even attempt it myself. I’ve seen top players try for these streaks, and it’s incredibly difficult. One mistake wipes out all your progress, and you have to start over.

Social media reactions to the latest figures have been varied, highlighting a continuing issue with fan trust that needs to be addressed, particularly regarding concerns about cheating.

It’s great to see that Ricochet, Activision’s anti-cheat system, appears to be working much more effectively since the release of the latest game. It’s hard to say exactly what’s caused the improvement – it could be the new security requirements for PC players, or a combination of changes – but I’ve definitely noticed a positive difference.

Ever since the win streak camos were introduced, a lot of players feel like they unfairly reward those who cheat. You can see this reflected in many of the comments and discussions about them.

I believe that often when people accuse others of cheating, it’s simply because they lost and the other players were just more skilled. However, I’ve also witnessed clear cheating while watching live streams, so it’s still a problem in the game.

As a researcher studying this, I’ve come to believe that addressing player distrust is a really tough challenge, especially right now. The cheating issues have been ongoing for so long that many players have simply become cynical and expect problems – it’s become their default reaction, making it hard to rebuild confidence quickly.

Okay, so seventeen people isn’t a huge number, even if some of them *were* trying to exploit things. That actually makes me feel pretty good – it suggests the core gameplay is solid! But honestly, I’m really excited to see how things hold up when Ranked Play finally launches in Season 02 – that’s when we’ll *really* know if it’s working.

Raven has announced that the current camo challenges tied to win streaks will disappear when the season ends, and new ones will become available in Season 02. You have just a few weeks left to complete them.
