The character creator for Bandai Namco’s Code Vein 2 is now available on all platforms, just as we announced! It lets you customize your character with a huge number of options – everything from clothes and shoes to tattoos and hairstyles. You can even recreate characters from other games, like Jin Kazama from Tekken or The Prince from Katamari Damacy, if you want a break from creating your own Revenant.
You can do more than just customize your character, Hunter. You can also explore the MagMell Institute and relax in the hot springs with your friends. Plus, if you want to see how your character looks in different lighting, you can walk around the game world. And for the perfect shot, there’s a Photo Mode where you can adjust things like poses, brightness, and color.
Want to create more than one custom character? You can compare up to 64 of them before adding them to the game. This might seem like a lot, but the game’s combat is incredibly challenging, so having options is helpful.
Code Vein 2 comes out on January 30th for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. If you buy the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition, you can start playing a few days early on January 27th. We have a detailed feature explaining what to expect in the new game, and you can find out what’s changed from the first Code Vein – including new weapons – in another article.
