2026 PS5 Exclusive Game Releasing Soon Has Divided PlayStation Fans

A new PlayStation 5 game launching in 2026 is causing some debate among fans. Originally planned for release on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on March 12th, the Xbox version has now been cancelled, making it exclusive to PS5. Despite this, many PlayStation players aren’t planning to buy it.

Sedleo, a new developer, is partnering with Dear Villagers to release 13:48 Ex Voto, a medieval action-adventure game, on March 12th. While originally planned for Xbox Series X, that version has been cancelled so the team can concentrate on making the game as good as possible for PC and PlayStation players.

PlayStation Fans Divided

Along with the announcement of the game’s release date and the cancellation of the Xbox version, a new story trailer was released. However, the trailer hasn’t been well-received, with a nearly even split between likes (183) and dislikes (145).

It’s possible some of the negative feedback comes from Xbox players disappointed that the Series X version of the game was cancelled just five months after it was announced and two months before release. However, most complaints seem to be about the main character and how she looks. Despite the dislikes, there’s still a lot of excitement for the game, which is why it has a slightly positive reaction overall.

Although the game will only be available on PS5, PlayStation isn’t involved in its development. Early signs indicate it will be a smaller release in 2026. If the trailer caught your attention, you can expect to pay $24.99 when it comes out. This price suggests the game might be relatively short, though that hasn’t been officially stated.
