Amelia Gray Hamlin is setting the record straight about her looks.
The daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin recently opened up about her experience with plastic surgery, discussing both the procedures she’s had and those she’s chosen not to have.
She recently told Variety magazine that she’s never had lip fillers, explaining that her full lips are natural. She is currently trying a moisturizing injection called SkinVive, but clarified that it’s different from filler.
Amelia, 24, revealed she’s had a few cosmetic procedures, including a nose job. She also had a breast reduction due to an infection from a piercing. Later, she decided to get breast implants, though she wasn’t thrilled about it, and unfortunately, that led to some serious health problems.
When I was younger, I dated someone older who had a different idea of beauty than me. I let his preferences influence my decisions and ended up getting another breast augmentation because I wasn’t satisfied with the scars from a previous reduction. I essentially woke up with a body I hadn’t fully agreed to, and that’s all I’ll say about it.
Let me tell you, working on projects can sometimes have unexpected consequences, and that’s definitely been true for me recently. While filming my new Hulu series, The Beauty, I unfortunately needed emergency surgery. It turns out the prosthetics used for my role were just too much for my body to handle – honestly, my breasts couldn’t cope with the weight and size! It was a scary experience, but thankfully everything is okay now.
She explained that the implants caused so much nerve compression she couldn’t even use a soap dispenser. Eventually, she needed a 14-hour surgery to fix the problem.

Oh my gosh, I just learned something terrifying about Amelia! Apparently, back in 2020, she talked about how close she came to a really dangerous infection. She said she got a piercing when she was sixteen, and it got infected so badly she was literally twelve hours away from sepsis! Can you believe it? It’s so scary to think about how sick she almost was!
She explained on the Skinny Confidential: Him and Her podcast that she already had a strep infection when it spread to her breast through an open wound. She described how severely swollen her breasts became as a result, saying it was a serious issue that required surgery to correct. She clarified that she didn’t achieve the resulting size naturally.
After going through a difficult time, Amelia shared that she hadn’t spoken about the surgery when it first happened, jokingly adding, “I think my mom will be really upset with me for not telling her!”
Similar to Amelia, lots of celebrities have openly discussed getting cosmetic procedures. Read on to find out what they’ve shared about their experiences.

In a TikTok video posted in January 2026, she announced she was feeling almost back to normal five days after surgery. That’s exactly what happened with a former star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She recently decided to remove the under-eye filler she got right after turning 18! She documented the whole process on a makeover series called Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind, and it was really interesting to watch her journey to a more natural look.

Okay, so I was listening to Sophia Bush’s Whine Down podcast – seriously, you HAVE to listen – and she was SO open about everything! She expressed her hope on Instagram that her children would never feel so insecure about their bodies that they’d resort to drastic measures to lose weight. While she believes minor cosmetic procedures like rhinoplasty or breast augmentation are acceptable, she feels that extreme body modification for the sake of thinness indicates a serious mental health issue. She added that she says this with respect for anyone who is going through such struggles.

The reality TV star explained her openness about getting a facelift by saying it would be strange to return to the show looking noticeably younger without explaining why. She admitted she does look about ten years younger now.

In a July 2024 Instagram post, she revealed what cosmetic procedures she’d had. She confirmed getting Botox (commonly known as ‘tox’) in her forehead (11s), around her eyebrows, and on her neck. She also had a procedure called Ellevate on her neck in 2019, done by @theneckdoctor, and minimal lip and chin filler. She clarified that she hasn’t had filler anywhere else and hasn’t had eyelid surgery (bleph) yet, and promised to share if she gets any further procedures.

I was on Today back in 2013, and I told everyone – I was one of the very first to be open about it. And you know what? I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat!
