Tom Allen joins the cast of hit West End musical for strictly limited run this spring

We’re thrilled to announce that Tom Allen will be joining the cast of the popular West End musical, Titanique, this spring!

I’m so excited! The comedian recently joined the Olivier Award-winning show – they actually saw it themselves first and just completely fell in love with how funny and playfully over-the-top it is. It’s a really brilliant show, and I can see why they wanted to be a part of it!

The popular musical recently marked its first anniversary at the Criterion Theatre in London. Each performance tells the imaginative story of Celine Dion being a passenger on the Titanic, witnessing the famous romance between Jack and Rose firsthand.

Starting Wednesday, March 4th, 2026, Allen will portray Ruth, Rose’s mother, for a six-week run concluding on Sunday, April 12th, 2026.

He shared that he saw the show when it originally premiered and enjoyed it so much he quickly went back for a second viewing. He described the humor and playful satire as incredibly enjoyable and exactly what people need today.

I’m incredibly excited to be working with such a talented group of people! I’m really looking forward to getting started… and I just realized, they do have enough lifeboats, don’t they?

This show is Allen’s first time performing in London’s West End. It adds to a growing list of successes, which also includes popular stand-up tours, appearances on shows like ‘Cooking With The Stars’ and ‘The Apprentice: You’re Fired,’ and his podcast ‘Pottering’.

The cast of Titanique includes Luke Bayer as Jack, Richard Carson as Cal, Ryan Carter as The Iceberg, Rose Galbraith as Rose, Astrid Harris as Céline Dion, and Carl Mullaney as Ruth. You may recognize Luke Bayer from Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Richard Carson from Les Misérables, and Ryan Carter from Bat Out Of Hell.

The musical is currently scheduled to run until June 7th, 2026, but strong reviews and several awards – including Best Entertainment or Comedy Play and a Best Supporting Actor award for Layton Williams (known as The Iceberg) – suggest it will likely be extended.

When can I see Tom Allen in Titanique?

Allen will be performing from March 4th to April 12th, 2026, with the exception of March 24th and April 3rd through 5th.
