Marvel’s newest series, Wonder Man, features a talented cast in a unique story set within the world of Hollywood and superheroes. It’s a departure from typical superhero shows, signaling that Marvel Studios is becoming more innovative and willing to experiment as it continues to expand its comic book-inspired universe.
Although the series draws inspiration from a comic book character and retains some connections to the source material, the MCU’s version of Simon Williams tells a very different story. It cleverly explores his attempt to become a star in Hollywood, and it requires skilled writing to feel genuine.
