Teen Mom’s Ryan Edwards’ Wife Amanda Conner Reacts to Breakup Rumors

Amanda Conner is setting the record straight about her marriage to Ryan Edwards.

The Teen Mom star’s wife directly responded to rumors about her and Ryan splitting up, stating they were both upset by the speculation. This came after she shared a provocative quote on social media – “Before I was a mother, I was a menace to society. Stop playing with me.” – which fueled the rumors.

In a video posted on Instagram on January 26th, Amanda clarified that not everything she shares online is related to her and Ryan. She asked people to stop jumping to conclusions and misinterpreting her posts.

Okay, so everyone needs to KNOW, Ryan and I are totally fine! Seriously. We have our little moments, like, he always leaves his clothes everywhere and never cleans the toothpaste out of the sink – it drives me crazy! – but honestly, that’s just… normal couple stuff. We’re good, I swear! It’s nothing major.

Amanda also said she would never risk her marriage by acting inappropriately, especially since she and her husband have an 11-month-old daughter named Presley.

It’s frustrating because anything I share – even a sad song or a positive quote – gets misinterpreted. Please stop making assumptions about what I mean.

Ryan married Amanda last year, following a proposal in 2024. Before that, he was engaged to Maci Bookout McKinney, with whom he has a 17-year-old son named Bentley. He was previously married to Mackenzie Standifer from 2017 until they separated in 2023. Ryan and Mackenzie share two children: Jagger, age 7, and Stella, age 6.

As for Amanda’s take on their blended family?

She posted a Facebook photo with Maci in August, writing, “The best woman my partner has got.” She added, “I truly love this woman.”

She added, “See …you can be a blended family, but only if you want what’s best for your children.”

Fans first met Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra on the first season of 16 and Pregnant in 2009, when they made the heartbreaking decision to put their daughter, Carly, up for adoption. The couple, who are now married, tied the knot in August 2015 after 13 years together. They’ve since expanded their family with three more daughters: Novalee, Vaeda, and Rya.

Even though they still miss Carly, who lives with her adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, they remain hopeful and continue to work towards a better future.

Catelynn explained to TopMob News in January 2025 that they want to respect their daughter’s wishes regarding their relationship. She said they’re open to any level of connection – whether it’s with her biological siblings, with them as her parents, or none at all. They want to prioritize what feels right for her as an adoptee and support her choices.

Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards were still dating for less than six months when they found out they were expecting. Viewers watched their relationship struggles unfold on 16 and Pregnant. Despite getting engaged, the couple broke up less than a year after their son, Bentley, was born in 2008.

Maci and Ryan are currently working on having a healthy co-parenting relationship. In 2023, Maci told TopMob News that things were going well, and Ryan was being more reliable than he had been in the past.

Maci met Taylor McKinney in 2012, and they quickly became partners in life. They started a family with the arrival of their daughter, Jayde, in May 2015, followed by their son, Maverick, a year later. They then got married in Florida in October of the same year.

They’re partners in everything – parenting, life, and their fashion brand. In a 2023 interview with TopMob News, she described him as her ultimate companion, saying, ‘Even through difficult times, I always choose him. I genuinely like him. Even when I’m frustrated with him, I’d rather work through disagreements with him than not have anyone to challenge me at all.’

Even though they’ve both started dating other people, the stars from the MTV show The Challenge are still working together to raise their daughter, Ryder.

From the moment Cory became a part of Ryder’s life, we always discussed the type of father and parent he wanted to be,” Cheyenne told TopMob News in March 2020. “I didn’t want him to be a ‘Disneyland dad’ who just provides fun, or an ‘Instagram dad’ focused on appearances. He needed to be fully committed. I think he recognized my expectations early on, and that’s why we’re able to co-parent so effectively.

Cheyenne and Zach briefly separated in 2018, but decided to try dating again. She announced on Instagram, while celebrating her 28th birthday, that they were back together. They had their first child, a son named Ace, in May 2021, and then got married in September 2022.

In 2024, Cheyenne told TopMob News that the past two years had been about achieving some big life goals. They welcomed a baby, Ace, got married, and purchased a home – everything they’d been hoping for.

She continued, explaining she simply didn’t want to do anything or strive for any goals. All she wanted was to relax, be peaceful, and enjoy the present moment with the people around her. She didn’t need anything more than that – just contentment and connection.

Cheyenne revealed she was pregnant with her third child during an episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter in May 2025.

Zach told Us Weekly that he and his partner had a lot of back-and-forth about having a baby. He initially wanted one, then she did, but then he changed his mind. Eventually, they both agreed and decided to try to have a child.

It might seem unlikely to find love while filming a reality show, but Cory and Taylor Selfridge, who first connected on Ex on the Beach, have proven it’s possible. Years later, they’re still together and have two daughters, Mila and Maya.

He told TopMob News in 2023 that they recently purchased a home. He then addressed the frequent question of when he and his partner will get married, saying they’ve discussed it extensively. He explained they only need to finalize the proposal and have the conversation. He feels his partner deserves a proposal, and it’s something they both want, adding that they are currently working towards making it happen.

Shortly after marrying Mackenzie Standifer in May 2017, Ryan entered rehab. Their son, Jagger, was born in 2018 while Ryan was still receiving treatment.

I was so happy when they announced Stella’s arrival in January 2020! It was wonderful seeing them as parents. Sadly, just three years later, Mackenzie filed for divorce, which was really heartbreaking to hear.

After ending his relationship with Mackenzie, Ryan began dating Amanda in 2023. A year later, during a family vacation, he proposed to her.

The pair welcomed daughter Presley in February 2025, seven months before announcing their marriage.

Despite a very rocky and public breakup in 2013, the couple successfully raised their daughter, Leah, who is now a teenager, together for several years.

Amber shared with TopMob News in January 2022 that while they enjoy each other’s company, they maintain some space in the relationship. She described it as a strong family unit, emphasizing that they prioritize a familial dynamic above all else.

Okay, so everyone’s family has drama, right? But with Amber and Gary? It’s been intense. She’s been airing all their dirty laundry online lately, and honestly, it’s clear they’re not on good terms at all. And then there’s Leah… their falling out has been playing out for everyone to see on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, and it’s just so sad to watch. I’m completely invested, obviously!

After being together for several years, getting engaged, and even trying to work through their issues on the show Marriage Boot Camp, Amber and Matt Baier, who moved to Boston, ended their engagement in 2017.

Amber explained on Dr. Drew Pinsky’s podcast that she and her partner reached a breaking point where they stopped really listening to each other and simply stopped caring about the relationship. She admitted to emotionally shutting down and building a wall to protect herself from further hurt.

Amber found love while filming Marriage Boot Camp with a crew member named Andrew Glennon. They first appeared as a couple at the 2017 MTV Movie Awards, and in May 2018, they welcomed their son, James.

Following Amber’s arrest for domestic battery in July 2019, the couple split up. After a difficult legal process, Andrew, who is from California, was granted full legal and primary physical custody of their son in 2022.

The reality TV star shared with TopMob News that she’s been working hard on personal growth and strengthening her bond with her kids. She explained that while she’s always been open about her history with addiction and mental health challenges, everyone deserves a chance to move forward and not be defined by their past mistakes.

She refused to be discouraged, saying, “Even if life hasn’t been easy, if you’ve made an effort to grow into a stronger, kinder person, keep going – I will too. My love for my children drives me, and I’ll always fight for them.”

Amber met Dimitri Garcia online, and he first appeared on Teen Mom OG in April 2020. Amber described him as a handsome 39-year-old – ten years her senior – and explained that after getting to know him, they decided to meet in person because they liked each other.

During the April 2021 reunion of Teen Mom OG, Amber shared that she was still with Dimitri, though they hadn’t seen each other in a year after knowing each other for 18 months. While they never publicly broke up, Amber later introduced a new partner, Gary Wayt, on the June 2024 episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.

Amber met Gary 2.0 on a dating app in the fall of 2023, and he quickly became more involved after she introduced him to her fellow cast members during an online conversation.

Although Gary proposed to Amber in May 2024, their engagement didn’t last long. During a trip to North Carolina for her brother’s wedding in June, he left after an argument, and Amber filed a missing person’s report.

And while Gary was soon located, the duo’s engagment wasn’t the only thing left broken.

Honestly, it’s been incredibly tough. For three or four days, I genuinely thought my fiancé had passed away. I had to go through the pain of grieving, and I just couldn’t understand why anyone would intentionally put me through that. I’m really struggling right now, and it’s a lot to process.

She explained, “He really hurt me. I was doing well, but getting engaged to him has completely thrown me off balance. It’s the first time in years I’ve felt this way, and it’s because of him.”

Gary and Kristina Anderson had their daughter, Emilee, in April 2015, and then got married in a lovely beach ceremony a few months later.

In a 2022 Instagram post, Gary shared how much he appreciated someone, calling them one of the most beautiful people he knew and saying he couldn’t manage life without their support.

Farrah Abraham’s daughter, Sophia, was born in December 2008, two months after her father passed away in an accident.

After losing her high school boyfriend, Farrah’s first significant relationship was with real estate agent Simon Saran, and they dated on and off for more than two years.

Their breakup in 2017 was quite difficult, even involving legal letters, but they attempted to stay on good terms, at least a little.

Okay, so Simon said – and honestly, he gets it – he doesn’t hate Farrah, not at all. He just explained that we’re… different. Like, she’s all about the glam and the show, and he just wants something genuine, something real. He actually wishes her well, wants her to crush it in whatever she does next, which is… surprisingly sweet, honestly. I just get why he feels that way, you know? It’s like he sees through it all, and I do too!

Jenelle Evans and Andrew Lewis, parents of Jace, separated shortly after he was born in 2009. Jenelle wasn’t very involved in raising her son after the split.

As a mom, my biggest fear is someone coming in and out of my child’s life inconsistently. I was reflecting on this recently, specifically regarding my son Jace’s father. While it’s hard to say, I know his pattern, and honestly, I want to protect my son from that rollercoaster. I don’t want him getting excited about a relationship only to be let down when that person disappears again. It’s about creating stability for my kids, and that means being realistic about who can consistently be there for them.

Oh my gosh, it’s been such a rollercoaster following Jenelle’s life! First, she was married to Courtland Rogers, and then she had her sweet little boy, Kaiser, with Nathan Griffin back in 2014. But then, everything changed when she met David Eason! They were so in love, and they got married right on their property in North Carolina in September 2017, just eight months after their adorable daughter, Ensley, came into the world. I’ve followed every moment!

Following a difficult period where David faced a misdemeanor charge of child abuse concerning Jace – which Jenelle believed was a false accusation – she announced that they had split up.

She said she would have gotten a divorce immediately if North Carolina law hadn’t required a year of legal separation, and proof that she and her spouse lived at different addresses.

Their divorce was finalized in July 2025.

Do you remember the guy who asked Chelsea Houska when he could finalize the paperwork to deal with their child? He referred to their child as a ‘mistake’.

Completely in the rearview.

Despite a difficult past, Teen Mom star and HGTV personality Chelsea Houska has a surprisingly good relationship with her high school ex, Adam Lind, who is the father of her oldest daughter, Aubree. She told Us Weekly that they’ve reached a point where there’s no tension or negativity. They see each other occasionally and everything is okay.

Oh my gosh, I’ve been following Chelsea and Cole DeBoer forever! It all started with the cutest little meet-cute at a gas station back in 2014, and then they got married in October 2016 – seriously, it was like a fairytale! Then came their adorable son, Watson, in 2017, and then two precious daughters, Layne in 2018 and little Walker in 2021! And now? They’re sharing their amazing life and design skills with everyone on their HGTV show, Down Home Fab! I’m obsessed, honestly!

Chelsea said she wanted to return to television with a show that was fun, positive, and allowed her and her family to be themselves. She described the opportunity as a perfect fit, explaining, ‘It was just a really great chance to do all of those things.’

Chelsea shared with TopMob in June 2025 that many of her friends feel finished having children, but she isn’t sure if she’ll ever feel that way herself.

Leah Messer and Corey Simms tried to make their friendship work as a family, but they divorced just six months after getting married in October 2010. They share teenage twins, Aleeah and Aliannah.

Corey has been married to Miranda Patterson since 2013.

Leah married Jeremy Calvert, a pipeline worker, in 2012, and they had a daughter, Adalynn, in 2013.

Okay, so they broke up back in 2015, which was devastating, honestly. But they try to do right by their little girl, you know? It’s not always smooth sailing, though – sometimes it seems to work great, and other times… well, let’s just say co-parenting is HARD, even for them!

Leah shared with TopMob News that watching her daughters grow is like seeing a fuller, happier version of herself. She finds immense joy in supporting their passions and being involved in their lives, describing it as a magical experience. She especially loves being a mom to girls.

When Leah publicly announced her relationship with Jaylan Mobley on Instagram in 2021, he had already made a great impression on both her and her daughters.

The couple announced their engagement in August 2022, but broke up that October.

Looking back, I really needed that breakup,” the Teen Mom star told TopMob News a year later. “I’ve grown a lot since then, and I finally feel like my life is starting fresh.”

Kailyn Lowry became a mom at 17 when her high school boyfriend, Jo Rivera, and she had their first son, Isaac, in 2010.

Despite their marriage ending after a year, Kailyn and Jo have found a way to successfully co-parent their son. They even worked together for years on Kailyn’s podcast, Baby Mamas No Drama, which featured Jo’s wife, Vee Torres. Kailyn shared on social media after attending Jo and Vee’s wedding in 2018, “We’ve both grown a lot since we were young,” and added that she couldn’t ask for a better stepmother for their son, Isaac.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve followed Kailyn’s journey for years, and it was lovely to see her family grow! She and Javi Marroquin got married, and about a year later, in November 2013, they welcomed their adorable son, Lincoln. He quickly became a beloved addition to the family, and I know fans were thrilled to watch him grow up alongside Kailyn’s other son.

After separating in late 2016, the former couple has experienced a somewhat difficult relationship as they’ve both continued their lives.

Kailyn Lowry began dating Elijah Scott, while Javi Marroquin married Lauren Comeau in a small, private ceremony on Vero Beach, Florida, in April 2025. Lauren shared on Instagram that only Javi’s father, their children Eli and Maizee, and their pastor were present. They’re planning a larger reception with family and friends this summer. Lauren explained that everyone was supportive, and Javi’s mother had already been involved in their sons’ milestones, so there were no problems. They wanted a special and intimate experience for their family, and for Lauren’s father to walk her down the aisle.

In August 2025, the couple announced they were expecting their third child, several months after their June wedding celebration on the beach. Javi shared the news on Instagram, calling the baby a “honeymoon souvenir” and praising his wife as a strong and amazing mother. He expressed how lucky they both are to be expanding their family again.

Kailyn and Chris had two sons, Lux and Creed, during their complicated relationship, but they ultimately broke up.

She told TopMob News in 2020 that she and the other parent weren’t speaking at all. While she wasn’t sure what the future held, she hoped things would improve over time and that they could eventually find a way to co-parent successfully, for the sake of their children.

Kailyn felt she’d found a solid relationship with her partner, Elijah, a construction worker. She told People magazine that he was different from her previous partners and the fathers of her children, including their son Rio and twins Verse and Valley. While his job is physically demanding – he works with concrete and isn’t afraid to get dirty – he’s also very family-oriented. Kailyn appreciates how connected he is to both his own family and theirs, and feels they’re a great match.

A strong enough one that she finally said yes to one of his many proposals, in fact.

You know, he proposed to me so many times, and honestly, I never actually turned him down! I always told him ‘yes,’ but I kept saying ‘not yet.’ It was just a matter of timing, really, as we went from being neighbors to building a life together, as I told TopMob News back in September 2024.

Ultimately, though, the timing wasn’t right, Kailyn revealing in July 2025 that they had split.

She explained on the Give them Lala podcast that she receives criticism for ending her relationships with her children’s fathers. She stated she left those relationships because she refuses to tolerate mistreatment.

Kailyn has known Ike for a long time, basically since high school, but they didn’t become a couple until 2025, after she and Elijah broke up.

She admitted in a January 2026 video that she hadn’t been looking for a serious relationship, but after their first time together, they both immediately felt a connection.

Ike quickly moved in with Kailyn, a choice she understands might initially seem self-centered to her children.

She explained that when there’s a natural connection and attraction, it’s undeniable. She also emphasized that her own happiness is essential, stating she can’t be a good mother if she isn’t happy herself. She clarified this isn’t about depending on men for fulfillment, pointing out that past relationships have actually made her unhappy.

Jade Cline, from Indiana, and Sean Austin have faced challenges since their daughter, Kloie, was born in 2017, but in January 2022, Jade hinted to her followers that things were improving for them.

Things have been incredible for both Sean and me! We’ve gone through some huge life changes, and I’m so proud of the progress Sean has made, especially looking ahead to his future. It’s been a really wonderful journey, and we were thrilled to announce our engagement just eight months ago. We officially tied the knot in October 2023, and I couldn’t be happier!

Jade admitted in 2024 that her relationship isn’t flawless, but emphasized that she and her partner share a strong love and are committed to making things work, according to TopMob News.

I was so thrilled to hear that Ashley Jones and Bar Smith finally made it official! They actually got married privately back in 2021, which was wonderful news. It’s especially sweet because they’re already parents to their adorable daughter, Holly, who was born four years earlier. They’re such a lovely family!

But after calling off their romance several times, Ashley officially filed for divorce in 2024.
