The upcoming seasons of Bridgerton will focus on the love stories of Eloise Bridgerton (played by Claudia Jessie) and Francesca Bridgerton (played by Hannah Dodd), with each sister getting her own season.
We’re not sure which sister will be featured first, but fans of the Bridgerton novels will be thrilled to finally see each sister take center stage.
The fourth season will mainly follow Benedict (Luke Thompson), but it will also likely hint at future storylines for his siblings, just as the show has done before with other characters.
I’ve always looked forward to portraying Eloise’s love story – however it unfolds – in a way that truly captures her unique personality.
“I think she’s just trying to find out her way of doing it.”

Jessie explained that she’s eager to eventually perform the role in her own unique way, and is really excited about the possibility. She expressed deep affection for the show, her coworkers, and especially Eloise, and looks forward to the chance to contribute.
Those who enjoy the Regency-era show will remember that Eloise has always prioritized solving the mystery of Lady Whistledown over finding romance. After discovering Lady Whistledown’s true identity and having a falling out with her friend Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) because of it, Eloise’s journey has been full of surprises. However, the Bridgerton daughter has never cared much for making a splash in society.
Last season, Eloise developed feelings for Theo Sharpe, but she ended their potential romance because she worried about how their different social classes would be perceived. Despite their connection, she kept things strictly professional as they worked together to uncover the identity of Whistledown.
Okay, so Eloise is really taking charge now – she’s determined to help her brother track down this enigmatic woman he’s obsessed with, and she’s doing it completely on her own terms. It’s awesome because she’s totally ignoring what society expects from her and forging her own path, and honestly, that’s what I love to see in a character!
I was so excited when Jessie talked about landing the role! She said when she first found out she was cast, she literally couldn’t believe it. She described the character as a dream come true – something she’d never get to play again, and that she felt incredibly lucky. She even joked that she expected something crazy to happen now that she’d gotten the part, like getting hit by a bus! It just sounded like the opportunity of a lifetime for her.
I began my career as a clown and comedian, so playing a character who brings so much joy to others is really fulfilling. She’s a different kind of person, but it’s wonderful to portray someone so dedicated to marriage, love, and partnership. That’s what’s so brilliant about Bridgerton – it offers something for everyone, allowing viewers to see themselves reflected in the stories.
