As a big fan of Ryan Murphy, I’m not surprised he’s constantly working on new things! While I’m still enjoying his current show, ‘The Beauty,’ I’m thrilled to hear we now have a confirmed release date for his next project. He really doesn’t slow down, and I can’t wait to see what he does next!
Okay, so I just found out that Matthew Perry’s new docuseries, ‘Love Story: John F Kennedy Jr & Carolyn Bessette,’ is finally hitting Disney Plus in the UK on February 13th, 2026! I’ve been waiting for this one – I’m a sucker for these kinds of stories, and I’m really curious to see how this is handled.
This new series is designed to be similar to other popular shows created by the same producer, such as American Horror Story and American Crime Story, offering a different love story each season. The first three episodes will be released all at once, and then one new episode will be released every Friday for the following six weeks.
The show is based on Elizabeth Beller’s biography of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, and Paul Anthony Kelly and Sarah Pidgeon will play John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn in the series.
Grace Gummer, Naomi Watts, Alessandro Nivola, Leila George, Sydney Lemmon, and Constance Zimmer will also play important roles in the project.

The series tells the story of John F. Kennedy Jr., who many considered America’s closest equivalent to royalty. The nation followed his life, from childhood to his years as a popular and highly-publicized bachelor.
Carolyn Bessette was a well-known personality who achieved success on her own merits. She was known for her strong independence and unique fashion sense, and she worked her way up from a sales assistant to become a key executive at Calvin Klein, earning the trust of the designer himself.
John and Carolyn felt an instant, powerful connection. However, as their relationship blossomed in the public eye, the intense fame and constant media scrutiny put a strain on their love.

There are currently two projects in the works about the Kennedy family. One focuses on the love story of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette, while the other, called ‘Kennedy,’ will be a Netflix series starring Michael Fassbender as Joe Kennedy Sr.
A new documentary about John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette will debut on Disney+ on February 13, 2026. You can subscribe to Disney+ for as little as £5.99 per month.
I just added “Love Story: John F Kennedy Jr & Carolyn Bessette” to my watchlist on the TopMob app! It’s a great app for finding something to watch – you get daily TV recommendations and all sorts of features. You should download it too!
