Marvel has been building excitement for its new movie, Avengers: Doomsday, with a series of trailers. The marketing campaign began about a month ago with a short teaser shown in theaters before screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash, and it quickly spread online. So far, four trailers have been released, showcasing characters like Thor, the X-Men, the people of Wakanda, and the Fantastic Four.
The movie trailers were released weekly, and each one first appeared in cinemas before being published online every Tuesday. However, there was no new trailer for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ last week (January 20th), and it looks like there won’t be one this week (January 27th) either. Usually, trailers would leak online after being shown in theaters, but that hasn’t happened this time. It seems the regular release of trailers has stopped, at least for now.
When Will The Next Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Be Released?

Marvel hasn’t announced when the next trailer for Avengers: Doomsday will be released, but the Super Bowl (February 8th) seems like the most likely time. Movie studios often premiere big trailers during the Super Bowl, and Disney – including Marvel – frequently uses the event to promote multiple films. Releasing the trailer then would allow them to reach a massive, general audience – including people who aren’t closely following news about the movie.
The marketing for the upcoming ‘Doomsday’ film is different from what we usually see with Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, including the Avengers films. Typically, trailers for Avengers movies like ‘Infinity War’ and ‘Endgame’ were released about six months before the film came out. Marvel seems to be starting the promotion much earlier this time, likely to build excitement after some recent box office disappointments. This explains why there haven’t been many trailers yet, and it wouldn’t be a concern if we don’t see one during the Super Bowl – the movie isn’t scheduled for release until December.
Who Will The Next Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Be About?

The trailers for the new Avengers movie, ‘Doomsday’, have sparked a lot of speculation, with some predictions about the cast being accurate and others way off. The current big rumor is that the next trailer will focus on Robert Downey Jr.’s character, Doctor Doom. While not officially confirmed, this makes sense, as Downey Jr. is the film’s star and his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a key part of the movie’s appeal.
While many heroes could appear in the upcoming ‘Doomsday’ event – like Captain America, Shang-Chi, and the Thunderbolts – none would generate as much excitement as Doctor Doom. If Marvel’s event is a major spectacle, similar to the Super Bowl, and with the possibility of Sony including Spider-Man, it would be a smart move to feature Robert Downey Jr. as Doom.
Avengers: Doomsday will be released in theaters on December 18th, 2026.
