If you’re looking for a great reality show, look no further than The Traitors. As a huge fan of this Emmy-winning series, I’m completely hooked on Season 4, which is currently airing on Peacock and is packed with drama. While some viewers are criticizing Colton Underwood‘s gameplay, I actually appreciate his approach to uncovering the Traitors. Let’s dive into all the details.
The announcement of the cast for The Traitors Season 4 received some criticism, particularly regarding Colton Underwood and Michael Rapaport. While Rapaport became a talking point for his eating, Colton has faced a lot of negativity for his behavior during Round Table discussions. However, I don’t really have a problem with how he’s playing the game; he seems to be putting in more effort than some of the other remaining contestants.
Colton Might Be Targeting The Wrong People, But At Least He’s Playing Hard
Colton Underwood often dominates the Round Table discussions, and seems to be imitating Dylan Efron’s approach from last season. However, his strategy hasn’t been very successful, particularly with his decision to target Tiffany Mitchell from Big Brother. Many viewers are frustrated with his aggressive and confrontational behavior during these discussions, which is why they disapprove of his gameplay.
I’d rather see someone take a risk and fail than not participate at all. For example, Mark Ballas from Dancing with the Stars hasn’t really made an impact on the game so far. The same is true for Tara Lipinski, who hasn’t been very vocal or shown much strategic play.

You can watch The Traitors exclusively on Peacock, with plans starting at $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year. For an ad-free experience and the ability to download shows and movies to watch offline, consider upgrading to Peacock Premium or Peacock Premium Plus. See the deal here.
Colton is really focused on identifying a Traitor, and he believes Lisa Rinna from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is one. However, I disagree with how he’s approaching her. Instead of directly confronting her and trying to get a confession, he could have tried to connect with her as a potential Traitor and offered to join her team. Overall, though, I appreciate that he’s actively playing the game and putting in effort.

The conflict between Rinna and Colton is expected to escalate significantly this week. In a daring challenge, Rinna will have to convincingly stage a ‘murder’ in front of others. If she pulls it off, it could make people even more suspicious of her actions.
You can watch new episodes of The Traitors on Peacock every Thursday as part of the 2026 TV lineup. It remains to be seen if Colton Underwood will be able to identify and eliminate a Traitor.
