Okay, so in Emmerdale, Paddy Dingle – played by Dominic Brunt – finally got some good news: they found his dad, Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards)! It was a huge relief for him. But honestly, knowing this show, I have a feeling this isn’t the end of the drama and there’s probably more trouble brewing just around the corner.
Last week’s episode revealed a shocking truth: Bear was responsible for the violent death of Ray Walters. Despite desperate pleas from Paddy and Dylan to stop, Bear fatally attacked his captor.
Honestly, things went from bad to worse. We had to stuff the body into a van at the depot, figuring we’d bury it in the woods later. But just as we were about to put the plan into motion, Jai Sharma – Chris Bisson, you know – totally hopped in and drove off to Manchester! Can you believe it? It completely threw a wrench into everything.
For several weeks after the incident, Paddy kept his father confined to a bedroom in a rented cottage, hoping to prevent him from turning himself in to the police.

Yesterday’s episode showed Bear had finally had enough of being told what to do by his son and escaped out the window. Paddy was worried Bear had run off again, and even more concerned that the police might discover what he’d done to Ray.
Paddy and Dylan urgently searched Ray’s farmhouse, hoping to find something that would lead them to him. Unbeknownst to them, Bear was nearby, observing them from a distance.

I believe he was driven by a desperate need to find Anya Berisha – my friend, Alia – and finally give her a proper resting place. He’d been forced to bury her himself, and it haunted him. He was determined to rediscover that location, to bring her home.
Just nearby, Caleb Miligan and his wife, Ruby, were enjoying a walk when they spotted something surprising near Ray’s farm – Bear, wandering around the fields with no clear direction.
He seemed lost and confused, so they contacted both the police and a friend named Paddy to let them know he’d been located.

Paddy rushed over to help, quickly saying the man didn’t need a doctor and would feel much better at home.
The officer was struck by how clean Bear appeared, considering he’d been living in very poor conditions for the past six months. Paddy tried to quickly change the topic, but he knew it wouldn’t be long before the officer started asking tougher questions.
How will Paddy wriggle his way out of this one?
