Director Guy Ritchie will work with Henry Cavill, who recently starred in ‘Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’, on his upcoming film ‘In the Grey’. The movie, which was delayed from its initial release, is now scheduled to come out on April 10, 2026.
In The Grey, a highly skilled, secretive team operates in the shadows, equally adept at manipulating power and using deadly force. They’re tasked with the seemingly impossible: stealing a billion dollars from a dangerous dictator. What starts as a high-stakes heist quickly escalates into a full-blown conflict of wits, betrayal, and a desperate fight for survival.
Guy Ritchie wrote and directed the film, which stars Henry Cavill alongside Jake Gyllenhaal, Eiza Gonzalez, Kristofer Hivju, Fisher Stevens, and Rosamund Pike. Originally planned for release in January 2025, shortly after Ritchie’s previous movie, the film was delayed because, according to Ritchie, it wasn’t finished. Some speculated the delay was due to the disappointing initial theatrical performance of their last project, though that film has since found success on streaming services.
