School Spirits stars reveal how they’ve influenced Maddie and Wally’s fate in season 3

With the third season of School Spirits now streaming, stars Peyton List and Milo Manheim have a clear vision for the future of their characters.

The show will continue the story after a dramatic turn of events: Maddie has returned to her body, but Simon is now stuck in the afterlife. The fate of Wally remains uncertain.

Manheim told us: “They want to hear about what we think makes sense for our characters.

Wally’s always been a great teammate, willing to do whatever’s asked of him. However, he sometimes struggles to keep up with the bigger picture. This season, I’m hoping he can take more initiative – not just follow instructions, but actually help create the strategy.

They responded to that feedback positively, and we’re already seeing the results this season. It’s shaping up to be a really exciting one for Wally.

When asked if Maddie would support Simon this season, as he supported her previously, List shared that it was the first thing she asked the show’s creators and directors. She wanted to be certain Maddie would fight for Simon just as strongly as he fought for her.

She’s dealing with a lot right now, not just this issue. She’s worried about the new school superintendent and also having difficulties with her mother.

I feel like she’s really caught up in everything going on with Simon, constantly worrying about him. But honestly, there’s just so much else happening too, it’s like she’s pulled in a million directions.

I’m really invested in Maddie and Wally, and it sounds like Wally is going to be focusing on his own personal growth this season. That’s what the showrunner, Manheim, has said – he’s going through a lot on his own, which I guess means we’ll see him figuring things out independently.

He’s always been there for everyone else, but now it’s time for him to focus on his own well-being and prioritize what he needs. We’re seeing a different side of Wally this season.

This season, Maddie faces increasingly difficult challenges as she unravels deeper, more unsettling mysteries. With the boundary between worlds becoming weaker, frightening secrets are starting to emerge.
