Summer House’s Amanda Batula Breaks Silence on Kyle Cooke Breakup

Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke are heading towards a new horizon. 

The star of Summer House recently spoke out for the first time since announcing her split from her husband of four years on January 19th.

During a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Front Row with her Summer House co-stars, including Kyle, Amanda responded to a question by saying, “We’re good,” and then immediately asked, “What’s next?”

Amanda explained that she and Kyle are getting along better now that they’ve separated, as it’s allowed them to live and work together more peacefully.

Things are going well between us, actually. We communicate constantly, and since we’re both traveling, we’re sharing dog-sitting duties – basically coparenting our pets. I still reach out to him when I need advice.

 Though her inquiries aren’t always ones Kyle is able to solve.

She said her smoke alarm was going off, and she chuckled, adding, “I suggested she might want to contact her building’s management.”

Kyle has also observed a change in their dynamic since they publicly announced their split.

He explained that with each step forward, they’ve felt a sense of relief. Surprisingly, he added that finishing the project together last week felt particularly positive and uplifting.

He continued, “More than anything I want her to be happy. I want us both to be happy.”

Kyle and Amanda announced their breakup in a joint statement on January 19th, just before the new season of Summer House begins. The upcoming season will show the difficulties they faced in their relationship.

Only a few days after announcing their split, Kyle—who wed Amanda in September 2021—publicly discussed how difficult the breakup has been for him.

Having your whole relationship play out on television is a lot to process,” the businessman shared in a TikTok video on January 22nd with Adam Glyn. “We knew it wouldn’t be simple, but there’s still a lot of affection between us. That’s what makes this difficult, but also helps us both move forward.

Kyle also explained that he and Amanda wanted to address the rumors before the new season began.

He admitted it was a difficult subject to discuss. They anticipated a lot of questions about their relationship after people saw the trailer, so they decided to address it directly and get it over with.
