I have two GameSir controllers on my desk. The GameSir Super Nova, which is a more affordable option with Hall Effect sticks, is on the left. The GameSir G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero Edition, priced at $129.99, is on the right.
I got into PC gaming thanks to one controller. This week, I received another one, and it’s easily the most beautiful and well-made controller I’ve ever owned.
The ZZZ Edition is a special version of the popular G7 Pro. While it shares many of the same features, there are enough differences to make it worth discussing on its own. Here’s a breakdown of what sets it apart.

I got the chance to try out this product thanks to a sample from GameSir. Just wanted to be clear, though – they didn’t get to read this review or influence what I wrote at all. I wanted to give you my honest opinion!
The GameSir G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero Edition is officially licensed for Xbox, according to GameSir.
That addresses one of the few complaints shared in our GameSir G7 Pro review.
The absence of Xbox wireless compatibility was a significant issue, so much so that we highlighted it in the main headline of our review.
The GameSir G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero Edition costs considerably more than the wired Xbox version – $129.99 compared to $79.99.
The price isn’t just about whether it has connectivity, although that definitely influences it.
As a researcher, I’ve found the G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero Edition is quite customizable. It includes two different faceplates, a full set of swappable joystick caps, and multiple D-pads, giving users a lot of options to personalize their experience.
It comes with transparent covers that snap over the controller’s handles and coordinate seamlessly with the extra faceplate.

The controller includes a carrying case and a free month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. For PC gamers, the main difference between this special Zenless Zone Zero edition and the standard GameSir G7 Pro is what you’ll likely be most interested in.
As a researcher, I’ve found that both controllers share several key features. They both utilize TMR sticks for precision, offer a fast 1,000Hz polling rate when connected to a PC, and use Hall Effect Analog triggers for smooth and accurate input. Furthermore, each controller features optical micro switch face buttons, a set of remappable back buttons, and additional mini bumpers.
Each of the controllers comes with a charging dock in the box, and both have 1200mAh batteries.
As a researcher, I’ve found the controllers’ physical trigger stops are a really clever feature. They essentially let you change the long, gradual pull of the analog triggers into something more like a simple mouse click – and honestly, it feels fantastic when you’re using them.
The controllers each include a charging dock, and both feature 1200mAh batteries. It’s hard to say if the extra features of the GameSir G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero Edition and its Xbox wireless compatibility justify the $50 price increase.

It might seem minor, but the packaging for the GameSir G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero Edition is really impressive. When it arrived, I actually thought it was a special package sent to reviewers! It comes in a black box with a plastic sleeve featuring the Zenless Zone Zero logo.
Once I got rid of all the packaging, I found these sliding shelves inside the box – pretty neat! The main shelf held most of the controller parts, like the sticks and D-pads, but there were even more tucked away in a little travel case on the bottom shelf. Honestly, I’m not one to hold onto boxes. I might keep the actual tech itself – I’ve got a drawer full of old Windows Phones, for example – but you won’t find me saving the box it came in. Definitely not in my storage space!
Early impressions are great, and I plan to spend more time with it over the coming weeks.
The GameSir G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero Edition comes in a nice box that’s worth saving. Its features are very similar to the standard G7 Pro we’ve already tested. I haven’t used this specific version enough yet to comment on how well it performs or how long it will last. It’s also worth noting that this special edition isn’t the only G7 Pro model that works wirelessly with Xbox consoles.
The GameSir G7 Pro WUCHANG: Fallen Feather Edition is available for $99.99 and can connect to Xbox consoles via wireless connection. However, I’m currently testing the stunning ZZZ Edition. My first impressions are positive, and I’ll be thoroughly testing it with different games and devices over the next few weeks.
