FlexiSpot’s C7 Morpher chair lives up to its premium price with supreme comfort and dynamic adjustment options

I’ve been trying out a lot of chairs lately, ranging from disappointing models like the E‑WIN Champion Upgraded, to the Razer Iskur V2 X, which thankfully replaced my worn-out old chair. Now, I’m reviewing FlexiSpot’s “Premium Back Support Ergo Chair C7 Morpher” – it has a mesh back and includes a footrest. I’ll just refer to it as the FlexiSpot C7 Morpher from now on.

I was really impressed by this chair – it’s the most luxurious one I’ve ever tried. Given its high price – $899.99 at FlexiSpot.com or $939.99 with the footrest – I was eager to see if it would live up to the cost. After a few days of testing, I was pleasantly surprised! The chair is incredibly comfortable and customizable, with more adjustment options than any other I’ve used. The ergonomic design and breathable mesh material provided excellent back support.

Here’s my review of the FlexiSpot C7 Morpher chair.

I received a sample of this product from FlexiSpot for review purposes. However, FlexiSpot didn’t have any influence on the content of this review and hadn’t seen it before it was published.

Is the FlexiSpot C7 Morpher easy to build?

Let’s start with assembly, as with most chairs. The C7 Morpher was a bit of a mixed experience. It comes with a helpful instruction manual that clearly explains how to put the chair together and use all of its different adjustment features.

However, it was a bit challenging. Some parts were quite heavy and difficult to lift and hold, and their awkward angles made the job even harder.

Someone with lower strength or mobility issues will absolutely need assistance to build this chair.

Also, a few of the screws didn’t quite fit into the holes – they seemed a little too small. It’s possible other C7 Morphers are made with better-fitting parts, but I needed assistance to finish assembling the chair.

I’m fairly strong – I can easily lift heavy chairs like the Razer Iskur V2 X – but even *I* struggled to assemble the FlexiSpot C7 Morpher on my own. That tells me anyone who isn’t particularly strong, or who has trouble moving around, will definitely need a hand putting it together, especially if they don’t have a lot of space to work with.

I was really impressed with how well-made the C7 Morpher is. My version had a mesh seat – you can also get it with foam – and the mesh feels tough, comfortable, and like it will last a long time.

Plus, the chair’s metal base is really sturdy and easily supports my weight – I currently weigh about 230 pounds.

According to FlexiSpot, this chair can hold up to 380 pounds. This means it should comfortably support gamers weighing between 300 and 400 pounds, as long as it’s put together correctly.

Is the FlexiSpot C7 Morpher comfortable?

The FlexiSpot C7 “Morpher” chair lives up to its name thanks to its incredible adjustability. It offers ten different seat settings – eleven if you get the model with a footrest – which is more than any other chair I’ve tested.

I was able to practically mold and reshape every facet of this chair to my exact liking.

This chair offers a lot of customization options – you can adjust the headrest, armrests, seat height and depth, the recline tension and angle, backrest height and position, lumbar support, and even add a footrest. It seemed complicated at first, but once I learned how everything worked, I could perfectly adjust the chair to fit my body, which was incredibly comfortable.

This chair was incredibly comfortable. The inflatable lumbar support felt amazing, the padded armrests were perfect for my arms, and the headrest – which is a feature I haven’t seen in a while – provided wonderful neck support.

Another great feature is the adjustable seat base. It lets you move the seat forward or backward, so you don’t have to sit right against the backrest. This helps customize the fit to your body, making it more comfortable and improving your posture.

Plus, the included footrest was a great addition. It let me recline and comfortably rest my feet while watching Netflix or playing games.

Should you buy the FlexiSpot C7 Morpher?

✅ You should buy this if …

  • You want the highest quality office/gaming chair money can buy to bring comfort to your back and feet.
  • You want a chair with a lot of seat adjustment options.
  • You want a chair with clear and easy-to-understand instructions on how to put it together.

❌ You should not buy this if …

  • You want a more affordable, budget-friendly gaming/officer that won’t cost you close to $1,000.
  • You want a simple chair that isn’t outfitted with too many adjustment options.
  • If you weigh over FlexiSpot’s recommended weight limit of 380lbs.

I honestly have no complaints about the quality of the chair as it’s that good.

My biggest complaint, and it’s a minor one, is that the seat adjustment controls aren’t very clear. The diagrams showing how to use them are hard to see because they’re the same color as the chair, so adding color to the controls or diagrams would help.

I strongly suggest you keep the instruction manual for your FlexiSpot C7 Morpher. It will help you remember all the different adjustments and prevent you from accidentally setting it to an uncomfortable height or position.

Beyond that, this chair was truly enjoyable to use. It’s so comfortable and well-designed that it easily competes with other high-end chairs we’ve tested, such as the Secretlab TITAN Evo NanoGen or the Razer Iskur V2.

If you’re searching for a top-quality gaming or office chair, I strongly recommend the FlexiSpot C7 Morpher. It’s well worth the price – $899.99 directly from FlexiSpot, or $939.99 if you add the optional footrest.
