Reservations are filling up for The White Lotus’ new season.
HBO Max has revealed additional cast members for the fourth season of Mike White’s series, which will be filmed in France.
The streamer announced on X on January 29th that Chris Messina, Helena Bonham Carter, and Marissa Long will be joining the cast of the show, alongside previously announced stars Steve Coogan, Celeb Jonte Edwards, AJ Michalka, and Alexander Ludwig.
Given Helena’s background in the Harry Potter films, a comment made by Jason Isaacs – who starred with Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Sam Nivola in season three – is now becoming clearer.
Jason Isaacs, who famously played Lucius Malfoy, recently told Entertainment Tonight he was honestly envious of the actors in the new TV series.
He admitted he was envious, telling reporters at the Golden Globes that he had friends involved in the project who were going to have an amazing experience.
According to one observer, Mike White is truly unique – there’s no one else currently writing and directing quite like him.
The former star of School of Rock hinted that while his show is famous for beachside murders, the fourth season could be a departure from what viewers expect.
Mike said on the show’s podcast last year that he’d like to move away from overly dramatic or sensational language, but he also joked that there’s always potential for more conflict and ‘murders’ – meaning dramatic events – at the White Lotus hotels.

With rooms for the next season of the show quickly booking up, everyone is still wondering if a certain guest will return. Jon Gries, who plays Greg, has remarkably appeared in every season so far, making him the only cast member to do so across all three released seasons.
Jon admits he doesn’t know what will happen to his character, but he told The Hollywood Reporter last April that he’s eager to return if given the chance.
Honestly, if you’re asking me about what’s coming next in the show, I don’t think it’s going to be pretty. Jennifer Coolidge, who played the unforgettable Tanya (and sadly, she’s no longer with us in the story!), has hinted at some really dark times ahead. It sounds like things are about to get seriously intense!
Last year, Jennifer told TopMob News she strongly disliked Greg, stating he didn’t deserve any happiness and hoping something terrible would happen to him.
We still don’t know when the next season of The White Lotus will premiere, but here are some other shows with confirmed release dates you can look forward to…
